This restaurant just opened 3/19/2019, and is not really ready to open but started taking orders for pizza. They have no menu, no price list, few people who know how to use the cash register and the fountain drink dispenser is still being connected up. They invited people in on the 19th for free pizza samples. They have lots of thin crust pizza pies in a variety of toppings ready to sell slices from (see my pictures). They will supposedly offer specials for 2 slices and a beverage but aren’t offering those yet. I am all for new small businesses succeeding, but should have insisted on finding out what they charged for 2 slices before I ordered. The adage “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it” certainly applied here. My 2 slices arrived, and i was shocked to be charged over $8 for them with no beverage. Ouch! While they tasted okay, they were too expensive. I hope that Wall Street Pizza (which is not on Wall Street, BTW) adjusts their prices to more closely match what others are charging for pizza slices downtown ($7 with tax for 2 slices and a large fountain drink). I won’t be back until they are more affordable. But i encourage you to stop in and take a look, because I do want to support small businesses– if i can afford to.

Used To Be Better
You can tell this place has been hit hard by the pandemic and inflation. There’s hardly any customers here now when it used to be busier at lunchtime. They no longer have a soda fountain with free refills like they used to. Instead, now all you get is one can of soda and that’s it. The staff are very friendly, but the place has no AC and its very hot inside if you eat-in. The slices are also smaller now. Obvious cost-cutting measures.
The prices are sort-of expensive (see menu photo) and there’s no “special” 2 slices and a drink deal like a lot of pizza places. This is a New York style pizza place and there’s always those age-old annoying debates about what is “real” New York pizza. Their pizza is OK so-so-ish, but nothing that’ll knock your socks off. Definitely falls short of a good New York pizza.
A few years back, it tasted better then. 2 plain slices with oregano and garlic powder (see photos) with no drink & no sides with tax, it was about $9.00. Again, taste was OK-ish. And very little in stock to choose from. Even the soda case was mostly empty. Again, restaurants have been hit hard and I fear this place will have to fold their business soon.

A Treat
Some times I wish Eddie and Sams would not close on Monday or Tuesday. This is one of those times. We came about an hour before close , on a game night. They told us they were out of slices, but would make a whole pizza. I should have known right there. I lost count of how many people came and left when they were informed. We stayed, food was fair, drinks limited … but the place is not well kept and the employees swearing at each other didnt make it enjoyable at all. 2 stars is generous – I wont be back

Stopped in today to try it for the first time and I was not disappointed! I ordered the pepperoni and sausage as well as the meat lovers. The slices were big and fresh the crust was so delicious. I’m a huge pizza fan and this has easily became my new favorite spot in the Tampa Bay Area for authentic NY style pizza. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the items on their menu.

Be aware, folks. my wife is lying with poisoning and vomiting tonight. she ate only oatmeal in the morning at home and a slice of this hawaiian pizza for lunch. I will submit a complain to the relevant health department.

Edit: I simply can’t recommend it anymore. Something has changed and the experience is worse top to bottom. Still passable if you want pizza that isn’t a chain, but there are better options. Old review up for comparison.
Best pizza I’ve had in tampa, with a good selection of styles and other foods. Great if you want to walk in and walk out with a slice, great if you want to sit down for wings or their other offerings. Best part is the service. Everyone there is very friendly, kind, and helpful. Special shout out to Jeff for introducing me to the wall st sauce!

I Love coming here! It has quickly become a local favorite. Always courteous staff and fast service. I enjoyed a few slices of their delicious NY style pizza. Great dinner menu with a clean and inviting dining environment. Highly recommended!

The pizza is very good, so much that I returned during the same week and brought my girlfriend. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Big flavorful slices. The oven gave the crust a great char flavor. The first time in I had a pepperoni and sausage slice and a meat lover’s. Both were good and the cheese was bubbling for over a minute. Honestly, could have used a tad more cheese. Tasty sauce. Second time in they were slammed, which equated to a lot less oven time. In and out, so it was only warm. Still very good. I’ll be back again.
