Pretty cool mash-up between Walker’s and Liquidity. The menu is very simple with variations of the same items. You order online using a QR code and the food comes out hot and quickly. We tried the pizza tots, a smash burger and the BLT, everything was good and tasty. We’ll be going back if we’re in the area.

We noticed the Walker’s on Main food truck next to Liquidity Aleworks and decided to give it a try–without especially high expectations. Food trucks rarely have gluten-free buns, and we definitely didn’t expect to see tater tots on the menu (my husband loves loaded tater tots).

We ordered the Pulled Pork Tots and a Walker’s Cheesesteak on a gluten-free bun.

The Pulled Pork Tots were tater tots topped with pulled pork, Carolina Gold BBQ (which tasted like a delicious honey-mustard style sauce to me), coleslaw, and pickled jalapeños. The portion was generous, and the flavor good, but the star of today’s show was the cheesesteak.

Having grown up in Philly, I was admittedly skeptical about ordering a cheesesteak here–but the friendly young man taking our order strongly recommended it, so we went for it. I’m so glad we did. The shaved ribeye was very flavorful, and the Cooper Sharp cheese was perfectly melted and complemented the steak beautifully.

And a special shout-out for the gluten-free bun: in our experience, GF rolls are often bland and fall apart easily. Not this one. It was tasty and held together really well.

We’re glad this food truck is here to stay and will definitely be back!

Stopped in to see what the cheesesteak hype was all about. For me it was just okay but my son got the patty melt said it was the best sandwich he ever had. Took over 25 minutes for our two sandwiches and they weren’t even busy.

I stopped by Walkers on Main the other day and was blown away. It’s this cozy little food truck spot connected to a bar — the kind of small-town gem that immediately feels welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, with great energy and friendly faces all around.

I ordered the Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich, cleverly named the Cluck Norris, and wow — it lived up to the name. Crispy, juicy chicken with just the right balance of sweetness and spice, tucked perfectly in a soft bun. Easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time.

But what really made the visit stand out was the service. Conor, the waiter who took my order, was exceptional — genuinely friendly, attentive, and polite without being overbearing. He made sure everything was right and created such a positive vibe that it elevated the whole experience. You can tell he really cares about giving great service.

If you’re anywhere near town, Walkers on Main is a must-visit — great food, awesome atmosphere, and service that makes you want to come back. Big shoutout to Conor for making it such a memorable stop!

Lovely addition to Liquidty and downtown Mount Airy! You can order at the counter or via QR code at the table and they bring it out to you. Everything is in disposable/recyclable containers which was great for the outdoor atmosphere and taking leftovers home.

We tried the pizza tots, Big Mac walking taco, hot shot pizza, and the Cuban. Every single thing was delicious! Photos would be helpful on the online menu to understand some of the menu items that are more unique.

Absolutely love to see two great business owners joining together to make a great place even better!

Disappointed in the food quality and minimal service. First, the tablet YOU use to place your orders asks for a tip BEFORE you have received food or any service. How can that be fair to the client or your server? I did tip, and here is the service I received – our sandwiches wrapped in paper, not delivered on a tray, just un the servers hand. Just placed in the table by the server. We asked for napkins and cutlery and we’re directed to the counter. So what service did I receive for that tip?. Then there was nothing wow about the patty melt. It was soggy and blah. This wasn’t carry out, there was no reason for it to be soggy. And both the patty melt and cluck Norris has a smell of rancid oil. With the oil is bad or whatever product is used has a terrible odor. Noone asked about our food or experience. It definitely does not give the feel of a restaurant.

I did try to contact the restaurant for private input. No response.

Cheesesteak snob here . First off and foremost. Can I recommend some heaters lol ? Way too cold in there. Anyways Tonight’s dinner had to venture out to try this Steak and cheese I keep seeing I’ll give it an 8/10. Bread was perfect need to switch out the hots to pepper relish instead !! Becoming less and less a fan of coopers cheese everytime I try it personally think it kills the flavor but that’s personal opinion. Meat was perfect tho Price meh a lil steep with tots but what isn’t steep now a days will be back .

Ordered online roughly 20 minutes before arriving, they said it would take 5 minutes, it took 45. I get not being able to estimate perfectly but that discrepancy was ridiculous. Then all the food we got was ice cold, the burger I got was tasteless and all that combined made the eating experience rage inducing. $75 dollars for this was a joke

I drove 3 hours (from Northern Neck Virginia) to eat here and was not disappointed!
When I first arrived and realized it was in a shopping center I was not expecting much but, I was beyond surprised when I walked inside. The decor and ambiance is intimate yet industrial. The staff is welcoming and friendly. When my food arrived, I was truly impressed. My french onion mac n cheese was full of flavor, the brick oven pizza was cooked to perfection, and the bacon burger was one of the juiciest I’ve had. You CANNOT go wrong eating here. If you pass this restaurant up, you’re missing out.

I like to make a pit stop in Mt. Airy on my way home. I’ve got to say a real brick oven pizza really hit the spot. The fresh ingredients and the homemade dough made for a great pizza.
