My shrimp and grits were pretty tasty, and the hamburgers were good too, but OMFG! those fries! I mean, holy-seasoned-salt Batman! They were extra crispy and perfectly seasoned. To be honest, the fries stole the show. I’d totally come just to get an order of fries (make that a double)

Great 1st impression! New Years weekend, so numbers were a bit lower than expected. But the restaurant was beautiful in decor and calming color scheme. I ordered the Caramel Apple French Toast and I will say, it was the best French Toast I have ever eaten!!! No syrup needed. My husband had their Belgian Waffle with berries. He is a southern guy who likes his eggs, biscuits and gravy, so i was shocked when he ordered a waffle. He ate it all, and it looked fabulous! The staff was on top and had great etiquette! Would definitely recommend!

this restaurant is really really cute, but that’s about the only thing they have going for them. i regret going here, especially after seeing other reviews. where do I even start? my water glass had old food caked on it. coffee was stale. blueberry pancakes were SO try they were unbearable to eat. not worth the visit for breakfast but I cant speak for lunch or dinner. I would say visit at your own risk…

Just don’t. First after ordering a flight waiter came back ten minutes later and said they weren’t doing flights, so I found a drink instead, see attached pick for how sad the garnish was. Ordered two entrees and a bowl of French onion soup to split, and the soup came out as nothing but the onions in broth, and when questioned they didn’t do the cheese since they didn’t have the bread to toast. When the wife got a refill on her diet Coke, it was regular. Pretty disappointing for a restaurant in a hotel as nice as the Galt. Ambiance was on par with McAlister’s or iHop, and probably would have received better food from iHop.

Went for a singing trip with my chorus and can confidently say this was the worst food I had the entire trip. And I ordered FRIED CHICKEN. THE KFC WAS BAD. It tasted undercooked. The mac and cheese was very very soft. We had a new waiter, but that’s no excuse for A. Not asking for drinks B. Getting my entrée wrong And C. Charging us for the entrée I had ordered, not the one I got. Overall a regretful experience, would recommend any other restaurant in the hotel instead. They do make a mean chili though. Also my salad looked like vomit. Don’t believe me, look at the photos.

Went here for dinner and the food was yummy. Service was super nice, but things took a while, and it wasn’t super busy. Apparently, they have a pizza oven, but you can only order the pizza from their other restraunt jockey. Went with the pasta and chicken sandwiches. The fries were really good and seasoned. Juicy chicken on the sandwiches. My Pesto pasta had a pool of oil at the bottom but overall yummy. Cajun pasta had a good amount of shrimp and sausage, super creamy. My favorite was the appitizer of cheese curds, although a marinara dip would’ve made it that much better when asked if they had any, they said no. The cheese curds fed 3 and was plenty. Overall, I would recommend it. The food was good, but make sure you have some patience.

Had reservation for 3 at 8.30 went to the table, husband had trash in coffee cup. Wanted breakfast buffety, waiter asked if we were there for the breakfast with santa. Ordered off menu, berry pancakes, asked for sugar free syrup, told don’t have
Husband wanted a blt, told it wasn’t on the menu. Could not understand waiter, spoke to low
Spoke to manager on way out and really didn’t give a flying fig

We dined here for lunch on a Saturday before checking out of the hotel, and the food was very good! I had the Roasted Chicken Club that came with fries. My husband had the Southern Fried Chicken drizzled with honey with mashed potatoes and green beans. The food came out pretty quick as well! The loss of one star and almost two was the service. It was absolutely terrible. We waited to be seated for 15 minutes with no one at all checking the check in desk. No waiters or waitresses in sight for this long. I finally went back and got one. They were all crowded up talking. On to sitting and dining, our waitress came one time. We had to go to the group again to get our ticket after over an hour of being there. I probably won’t be back because of this.

We were seated quickly. Dress was casual. Service was friendly. We had the breakfast bar. It was full of many delicious treats. There was an omelet bar where omelets were made to order. There were French toast toppings galore. The biscuit bar came with many topping too. I saw signs for “made in KY.” They had juice and coffee. The bar also supplied toast, bagels, and donuts. My favorite was the cinnamon rolls. The atmosphere got 4 stars because the bar needed to be cleaned more often. They were probably understaffed.

I went to this location when recruiting at an event at the Galt House Hotel. I got the meal to go so I could eat back at the event. The employee/hostess who took my order was not overly friendly but professional. I felt like the cooking time of the meal was appropriate. I got the spicy chicken sandwich with kettle chips. The “spicy” chicken was not spicy to my palette, but it was a good chicken sandwich. I am not a big fan of chips, so I normally sub chips with fries. I didn’t want to eat that heavy when I had a long day ahead of me so I kept the kettle chips that came with the dish. Honestly, the chips were wonderful. Typically, I would throw out the remaining chips but my husband is a chip fan so I decided to bring them home for him to try. He agreed and said “Those are some of the best chips I have tried.” Honestly, given the google rating I wasn’t expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised. Note: I was in the east tower conference area. To find the restaurant go to the third floor and cross over the sky bridge to the west tower and go to the 2nd floor.
