I was in Sioux city for work and I was told about Walkers tenderloins. I am a tenderloin freak. So after work I drove down. Sat at the bar. I was promptly greeted by the bartender and she got me a beer in a frosty mug…bonus points. I ordered the tenderloin and fries. My sandwich came out at a reasonable time and it looked great, but tasted even better!! I was not disappointed! Service was fantastic. A+ in my book! I recommend Walkers! I would enjoy coming back and trying other foods on their menu.

Went to Walker’s for prime rib and a baked potato and were NOT disappointed. Absolutely delicious, fast and friendly service and a great menu with other options. We will definitely be back!!!

Not fancy but great small town Iowa restaurant with good food, good service and very reasonable prices. We have visited several times this year and food has been consistently good – definitely worth a try

The pork tenderloin sandwich was excellent. The service was equally good. And there was a friendly atmosphere.

We were there last night for corned beef and cabbage. Due to my leg injury and being on bed rest we decided to stay local rather than travel to the city. I only eat corned beef once a year and look forward to it all year long. What a huge disappointment the meal was! The corned beef was tough, dry and had no flavor. I could barely cut it with a knife. I got 4 slices with my meal and could only eat 1/2 of a slice. The carrots were way undercooked – couldn’t even get my fork in them. The cabbage was undercooked as well. The outer layers were fine but the closer you got to the center, the more undercooked it was. Just like the corned beef, I could barely cut the cabbage with a knife. The potatoes were just the opposite – way overcooked to the point they were almost mush. The other people I was with ordered off the menu and their meals were great. We all had appetizers and they were all good as well. No complaints about the service either. Have eaten here a couple times and always thought the food was really good – just super disappointed with the corned beef dinner.
