I was so excited to get some Louisiana flavor here in North Florida. This place just opened and honestly service was amazing and food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back. Started with the buffalo chicken nachos 9/10. I had the boom boom shrimp tacos 8/10 and my wife had the jalapeño jack burger 9.5/10. Only complaint was the sweet tea wasn’t very good but the server took it off the bill for us.

Walked in at about 6pm on a Friday night. The bar was full and there was about a 20 minute wait. I normally dont go out to eat on Fridays but here we are. The food was absolutely amazing. I dont normally order catfish but since it is a staple in Louisiana, I figured why not. My wife got the reddish. They were so good, I normally dont eat everything on my plate. I try not to over eat but it was so good I definitely over ate. Hahaha. It is definitely worth a visit, i cant wait to go back and try a few more things. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the drinks from the bar took about 12 – 15 minutes each time we ordered one. It wasn’t the server, it was definitely the bartender working the service bar. I dont know if this is a norm or if the bartenders were just that busy. The server did apologize but in all honesty, I probably would have had a few more drinks if the drinks were timely.

Overall nice place. Not a fan of the layout. It’s functional but felt cramped. The jumbo was the star, 2nd best I’ve ever had. I was really hoping the polenta bacon wrapped shrimp were going to be delicious but it literally tasted like bacon wrapped shrimp on overcooked polenta. Not a lot of depth to it. The bacon burger was apparently amazing. I’d have tried it but son devoured it. PoBoy was boring. No real sauce or remoulade, Very dry. Correct bread, but overall not that good. Onion Rings however were hand breaded and amazing. Service was great. I’d try it again but would order something different.

Finally, Durbin has another great sports bar! I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming — you can tell the staff genuinely care about their guests. The hostesses were so cheerful, opening the doors when we arrived and giving warm greetings. We even had one of them (Harper) go above and beyond to ask a couple of guests at the bar if they wouldn’t mind moving down a seat so that our party could all sit together. Our bartenders (Chloe & Zach) were friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and had great recommendations and poured some great drinks.
We started with the Boom Boom Shrimp which came out hot and were similar to a buffalo shrimp but slightly sweeter. For the main course, I had the Mango Tuna Bowl and it was delicious, so fresh and very much like a poke bowl and beautifully presented. The portions were generous but not over the top. My husband had the cheeseburger which was HUGE and very flavorful and we ended up sharing bites back and forth because everything was so good.

Great atmosphere! What you first notice about this place is that the menu is not your ordinary sports bar food menu. The food is a bit stepped up in a very good way. The Louisiana Kick wings are a must try. Treat yourself to an adult grilled cheese sandwich and make yourself happy again . Friendly customer service and the staff is very attentive without being overly attentive.
There is bar seating with plenty of flat screens to watch your favorite team along with plenty of cold beer. Parking is not a problem. There is plenty of it. Overall, this place is definitely on the list to recommend to friends and family.

Good news for the people in Julington Creek!

There’s no longer a wait at Island Wing Club — and the reason is Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux.

* 38 ultra hi def TVs. None faded and extremely clear.

* 48 Taps (24 draft offerings) plenty of cocktail options

This new sports bar has amazing food with a touch of New Orleans flavor. For being open only six days, I was impressed. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, everything ran smoothly. There are restaurants that have been open for years and still don’t operate this well. You can tell their team received proper training and has solid systems in place.

The prices were extremely affordable. My wife had the lemon chicken over grits, and I went with the jalapeño burger — both were excellent.

I do feel for the locally owned restaurants that don’t have the same buying power or the ability to compete with labor costs, especially with the increased minimum wage for tipped employees.

If they ever open another location, I’d love to see it go into the old Wild Wing spot in Tinseltown. It would definitely bring healthy competition to Island Wing Club and Mellow Mushroom.

Let’s Go! Walk-On Sports. Force the competition to be better or force them out.

We had such a great experience at the Grand Opening of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in St. Johns! From the moment we walked in, the energy was upbeat and welcoming — you could tell the staff was genuinely excited to be part of this brand-new location.

The atmosphere is exactly what you’d want from a sports bar — bright, lively, and full of team spirit, with wall-to-wall TVs showing every game you can imagine. The Louisiana-inspired menu is full of flavor and variety, and everything we tried tasted fresh and made from scratch. Some of my favorites were the Boom Boom Shrimp, Sweet Chili-Glazed Fried Salad, and the Shrimp & Grits — all absolutely delicious! The Louisiana Platter was a true Southern feast, packed with flavor.

Our server Anna was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations. The host Mackenzi greeted us with a warm smile, and we even got to meet Manager James and COO Partner Bobby, who were out chatting with guests and even shooting hoops with us — such a fun touch that really showed their enthusiasm for the brand.

Overall, Walk-On’s brings a perfect mix of great food, fun atmosphere, and genuine Southern hospitality. Whether you’re coming for a game, a meal with friends, or just to hang out, this place is worth the visit. Highly recommend checking it out — you’ll leave full and smiling!

Soft Opening Success:
Walk-On’s Hits a Home Run!
My group had the pleasure of attending the soft opening for Durban location tonight, and we are already calling it a success.

The atmosphere was vibrant, perfectly matching the sports theme—and the staff made us feel right at home, complimenting us on our jerseys!

The service was impeccable, which is particularly impressive for a soft opening.

Our server, Sienna (just like the Toyota minivan!), was super friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the menu. The staff consistently checked in, and every single dish arrived at the table fresh and piping hot.

The Food Lineup

We dove into a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious:

Wings: We started with the 18-piece, split between Buffalo (classic heat) and the savory, tangy Lemon Pepper. They were notably big and meaty—definitely worth getting.

Redfish Tacos & Sweet Potato Fries: I had the Redfish Tacos, featuring perfectly seasoned blackened fish topped with a bright, refreshing Mango Salsa. The side of crispy sweet potato fries with the dipping sauce was the perfect accompaniment.

Seafood Entrees: Another in our group enjoyed the Salmon (also with the delicious mango salsa), and two others raved about the hearty Catfish with Shrimp Étouffée—a true Cajun comfort dish that looked amazing.

Prime Rib Sliders: The final two members of our party enjoyed the savory Prime Rib Sliders, which looked like a great, meaty option for a game-day meal.

Overall, the variety of the menu is excellent, offering something for everyone, from traditional bar bites to quality seafood and comfort classics.

Congratulations to the entire team on a wonderful soft opening. We can’t wait to come back for the official launch!

I have never been to a Walk On’s before . My review is you have to try it. Our food was really good. I had the catfish Orleans and its so good and large enough for 2. The Mozzarrella sticks are huge and very good.
You won’t be disappointed. Oh and there must be 50 large screen tvs and 20 different drafts.
