This was recommended to us by a local and we almost didn’t stop, but thankfully we did. It was absolutely delicious. All of our dinners were flavorful and perfectly prepared. The hushpuppies were divine. We were too full for dessert which was sad. Service was really great until the waitress brought the check and instead of just putting it on the table, made it a point to hand it to the gentleman at the table. Thankfully he was a good sport about it because it was a ridiculous and obvious attempt to make him want to increase her tip. Only problem, it was a special occasion and he was not the one paying the bill or leaving the check.

I’ve eaten from here quite a few times when in the area (via UberEats). This is the Louisiana Platter $30 price on UberEats. Please look at the size of these catfish strips. Had about 6 pieces total this size. This doesn’t even equal a whole filet. The shrimp is bigger than the fish. I called the manager on duty, Thursday night 12/18 and asked if they were running low on catfish and explained what I had received. He stated that I needed to address it with UberEats. Unfortunately UberEats customer service has changed when it comes to reporting the “quality” of food received. This was $30! Whoever made this platter knew this was unacceptable… stop playing with people’s money like this! This isn’t fish strips .. these are fish crisps! We ordered 4 different platters… well over a $100 worth of food.

This was a very pleasant dining experience. Our waiter was the nicest young man. He was helpful in providing food facts and he was a one of the best waiters I have ever had. The atmosphere was lively and I liked the fact that I could watch multiple games without having to leave my table. My food was perfect. The Bayou Pasta is a must try!

In congratulations to myself on my top 10% of reviewers on ALL of Google-lands I, as latrice tonirque, am naming this restaurant as my big back locale of choice, yes even exceeding the chick fil a, famed as I did insisted. The chicken, burgers, boudan, whatever else is just downright divine. The customers need to mind their business just a little bit more that’s why the atmosphere is a 4 star but absolutely none fault of the restaurant. The servers are always nice and will do any requests you have for them regarding specifics of the big back meal that you got to oversize your back upon.

When he wants to watch his games, and I don’t feel like cooking but is hangry, this is where we like to go. It’s a pretty family friendly bar, the man gets to watch his games, mama gets to eat, and baby gets to color. That’s a win for the whole family

Great food and amazing service from our waiter Amiri, she was sweet and very attentive.
We order Voodoo shrimp and grits (jalapeno and cream cheese stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon and covered with a sweet chili sauce on a bed of savory cheese grits that reminded me of a loaded baked potato from the taste), bignet bites for dessert, 12 piece sweet chili wings, and spinach artichoke dip for appetizer. (Plus our drinks) Everything was hot and fresh and came out quickly. We went around 1:30pm on a Monday. I absolutely recommend you go, I sure will be back.
Update: I went back five days later on Saturday around 5pm, it was more of a lively party scene, but still was a great atmosphere.
This time I had a strawberry lemon drop martini, spinach artichoke dip with chips, and the “Cajun”dilla (which is a Cajun style quesadilla that has boudin, andouille sausage, grilled chicken, bell peppers, onions, cheese and a dipping sauce) that came with a side of red beans and rice.
The food was amazing.
I also tried The pepper jack boudin balls and fried catfish etouffee that someone else had ordered.
Everything is a hit. 10/10

We LOVE Date Days! Had doctor’s appointments and then it’s time to play! We always enjoy Walk-Ons. We enjoyed Fried Alligator that’s served with a delicious Dijon Horseradish, Cheeseburger Sliders and added bacon(you have to!), and a side of waffle fries. The bar is cozy and the bar food, if you’re in the mood, is just what the doctor ordered. The cocktails are delicious and the beer is cold. We’ll be back!
