Our waitress looked like she didnt want to be there and as if we were pestering her for what we ordered. Other than that the food was awesome! The seafood pasta was perfect in my opinion not salty just creamy! The cheese burger was super juicey! And the tuna bowl was actually pretty good! Ofcourse the chicken tenders were okay. Love the atmosphere and also got a strawberry lemon drop martini definitely super fruity loved it

On this beautiful Sunday afternoon, me and my friends were able to get a table for 6-8 people very quickly eventhough it was super packed due to the Sunday football games. Our server was Melissa and she presented herself nicely and was attentive to our table. We had a rather large drink order to start and there wasn’t any delay in our drinks. They were all ice cold too! Our food order was fresh and flavorful! Managers Roxy and Abby even checked in our table. That was a nice personal touch to this establishment. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be coming back again to enjoy the fun, lively, and “homey” atmosphere that the workers created.

We visited this place for lunch this afternoon, and we had a great experience! It was our first time there, and our server was friendly attentive and very helpful! The food was delicious, and they served surprisingly large portions that were more than we were expecting. We had a lot of leftovers to take him afterwards. We didn’t have the chance to try their desserts this time. We’re looking forward to going back in the near future.

Gentleman who took my phone order was friendly, patient, and enthusiastic with his recommendations. Host kiosk was empty when I arrived. A nice bartender eventually helped me. The grilled cheese sandwich was worth the wait! A tomato or vegetable soup would compliment this sandwich perfectly! The margarita to-go was not bad. Gumbo was a tad salty (just as my order taker warned) and not steaming hot, but still very palatable. I liked that it was not too spicy. I plan to use the lunch loyalty cards I received.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is DEFIANTLY a sports bar!! Just from where I was sitting I counted 38 tv’s in my view alone! The ONLY reason I gave this place a 4 out of 5 is because it was SO LOOOUUUD! I mean it is a sports bar and I suppose I should have expected it, so my advice is if you don’t like it SO LOUD you can’t even hear the persons sitting across from you, DO NOT COME WHEN THERE IS A GAME GOING!!! Food is GREAT, service TOP SHELF. Our server was Karis, very sweet and personable, she took care of us like a CHAMP. WE WILL BE BACK, just not in game day. COME!!! You won’t regret it … unless you come on game day

10 ⭐ to our server Sabrina! She was an awesome help with what we ordered for an appetizer since you were out of gator! We drive from Mercedes just for it. But otherwise she helped make up for it. We honestly were going to leave but she suggested the jalapeno shrimp. Bomb let me tell you! Great food as always

There aren’t a lot of places in Harlingen you can get a poke bowl, so this is my first choice in town for that. It’s a nice menu selection with some Cajun flair to it. They also have some popular bar type of foods and snack items along with a decent selection of drinks in bottles, glasses, and on tap. I thought the fish po boy was tasty but a little small of a portion for the price, but the poke bowl was delicious (definitely coming back for that). Desserts look great, and the ice cream cookie (don’t remember for sure what it was called) was fantastic – soft, chewy, hot chocolate chip cookie with a great scoop of ice cream and drizzles on top.
Lots of TVs with sports on, roomy booths, and a good number of tables available when we arrived.
I might add another star if I find some more dishes that are tasty and with a good amount of food.

This Walk-On’s location has really stepped it up since they first opened. Food is solid as are the happy hours, but where they really shine is with their server and bartender staff. Karis is one of the best servers we’ve had there…thoughtful, smart, friendly and on it and unless we sit at the bar, we try to get her section. Bartenders are great as well and take everything in stride despite dealing with being hit on constantly. Go ladies of Walk On’s Harlingen! You all rock it!
