Waitstaff was extremely attentive, checked on us several times during our visit. The salad was a generous serving and delicious. Blue Cheese with vinegarette combined with the fried chicken was a great combination. Had strawberry lemonade and it was very sweet but once watered down it was very refreshing. I recommend giving them a try.

Great catfish! Jazmin mentioned it to me and I am so glad she did!!! Boy the panko crumbs in the catfish are just to die for. Such an amazing place and the $5 margaritas and happy hour towards the end of the night is a treat for me!

I can’t speak on the food because I didn’t eat anything. Before I visited this location, I saw something about this restaurant online and it piqued my interest. I thought, wow, these pictures im seeing look great, large space full servings of food, so it gave me more of a restaurant picture. But when I got there, it was more of a fast food type setting, they did have a bar.And a few areas for booth seating. But everything that I saw leading up to coming, just made me think this was more of a restaurant. So I was kind of surprised when I walked in. It was a little small
And the counter where you get your food was directly ahead of you, you could even see the people in the back cooking. So all in all I had to give it a 3 star. Not because the food didn’t taste good because I didn’t eat any food. I just was looking for a restaurant. Feel, and sadly, this was not it for me. That and the prices were kind of high. They had a eight piece bucket.I believe that was 35-45 dollars now, of course, it came with a couple sides, and some biscuits I think, but I just couldn’t see myself paying forty five dollars for 8 pieces of chicken and sides.
Now that’s just me. Some people may feel comfortable with that.

I finally found you, Waldo—and I’m still deciding if that’s a good thing. For a lot of adults, though, this place feels like a continuation of childhood, almost like graduating from McDonald’s into the McDonald’s-for-grown-ups version of Waldo. It really is a little bit of everything: a drive-thru, a bar, beer, booze—and yes, chicken.

But here’s the catch: it’s only chicken. And while I like chicken, I couldn’t help but wish they’d expand the menu. If Waldo served burgers, I could easily see myself stopping by once or twice a week. That would really complete the “grown-up McDonald’s” feeling.

As for the chicken sandwiches, I have mixed feelings. The portions are generous—maybe too generous. The chicken itself was extremely juicy, which some might love, but for me it was over the top. The thick cut made the bread soggy and fall apart until it stopped being a sandwich altogether. I ended up pulling out the chicken and eating it with fries, leaving the bun behind. Next time, I’ll try a different approach.

The atmosphere, on the other hand, was great. I really liked the décor; it gave me the same nostalgic energy as a place I might have loved as a kid, but with an adult personality that matches where I’m at now. The TVs scattered around with different things playing added to the lively vibe. Prices felt fair for what you get, so no complaints there.

Service was okay. The girl at the counter seemed a little sour, maybe just tired or having a long day. Since it was my first time, I wasn’t prepared for the fact that there’s no big menu on the wall. That made ordering tricky, and I could tell our quick scramble to choose was testing her patience—but really, what else could we do?

Overall, Waldo has a lot of potential. It already captures that fun “grown-up fast food” energy, and I’ll be back to give it another shot—hopefully with a slightly different experience, and maybe even a burger someday.

We love Waldo’s! It’s a great place for when you’re hungry and want something hearty. Plus, drive-thru cocktails? Who does that? (Please drink responsibly haha)
The Tulsa location is also really good with service. We accidentally got an unsweet tea instead of sweet in the drive thru, and Jasmine walked all the way inside and back out across the parking lot just to give us a new sweet tea, and was super nice about it. And the food was great!

The chicken and the fried pickles were good. My fiancée said she liked her salad. Fries were too soft for my preference. All day happy hour on Sunday: 1/2 all bar drinks is VERY competitive. The drive thru window at the bar makes it EXTREMELY uncomfortable during the colder months. The bartender seemed overwhelmed.

I have been here several times and must say the service and employee experience have been much better the last year to year and a half. They are nice, friendly and ready to serve customers. The menu offers a variety dishes including sandwiches, tenders, wings, roasted chicken as well as fried. The latest time here I got the Loaded mac with fried chicken which is on the starters menu, but is more of a single dinner entree. The chicken was good and moist, but crunchy and mac was cheesy and not dry. I would have liked a little more flavor in the mac if it was up to me. The dining room is good sized with several 4 person tables/ booths available and a full bar area as well. I have seen several people get the banana pudding for dessert and it looks pretty good, I will have to try this next time.

They have really good food and I do like that they use 100% beef tallow. The reason for the 3 stars is this is now the 4th time that we have been to Waldo‘s and they have forgotten item(s). They never remember to give you silverware so if you’re ordering something that requires silverware make sure you ask. I understand that a lunch rush can get busy, I’ve worked in food service too. But I really think that your employees need to have a little more attention to detail and to pay attention to the customer. I think she typed in my order wrong. She kept talking over me and not letting me finish taking my order today which upset me as well. she was ready to give me my total before I even ordered my drink that comes with the meal. Also, the last 2 times we’ve ordered fries there been cold and soggy which is pretty disappointing. Management needs to get their team on the same page. I think it will be a while before I go back. Do better, Waldo’s

Waldo’s Chicken and Beer in Tulsa is always a great choice for comfort food. The chicken is delicious and crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. The mac and cheese is incredibly creamy and easily one of my favorites in town. With good food at good prices, it’s a spot I find myself returning to often. Highly recommend!
