My favorite spot for Ramen! The signature ramen is so delicious! The vibe inside is great, I love the decor! They also have a bunch of great appetizers on the menu that I haven’t tried yet since the ramen is so filling! Highly recommend it here!

Good place to stop in for an approachable ramen shop in Chinatown.
Smaller place but welcoming and easy to absorb environment and menu. All the ramen is around $15 give or take depending on what yours includes (my Spicy Miso was ~$17 and fiancé’s Signature ~$14).
All in all nice vibes and easy to visit and good food. Will most likely be back

The service was nice and friendly. The space is small, and with a large group inside, we ended up sitting by the window facing out, which was actually quite nice. The appetizers were good, and the ramen was delicious. I especially enjoyed the truffle shoyu ramen along with a beer.

You know what, I came here to eat literally expecting it was just a tourist trap but I saw they had a simple vegetable ramen and vegetable gyoza that I can get steamed and that was all I was craving. I ate my gyoza and it wasn’t bad, pretty good. Then the ramen came out and I was honestly very surprised. The noodle texture was perfect, the broth was perfect, it was just what I wanted and the vegetables were nicely cooked. I added a smoked egg and it really paired well. The view of people walking by was what I got and I actually found it very pleasant. I ate damn near the whole thing. And I didn’t feel sluggish after I ate. I don’t know who is in that kitchen but whoever it is made a really amazing bowl of vegetarian ramen plus smoke egg. I will come back next time I am feeling a little down.

Quick service. Seemed to be kind of a “burn em and turn em” going on but I didn’t mind. The phone charger came in clutch. You have to pay for it, but it is only 3 dollars an hour. The food was great. We got both the samurai duck bao and the spicy chasu bao. I would recommend the spicy chashu bao more.

We were walking around in chinatown and we saw the ramen sign and we went directly to try them, they were a lot in that area but the outside view was not warming.
Such an amazing place and super warming, server/staff were so nicely and organized. As for the food only good stuff, our dishes were delicious, the portions were big and the prices not expensive. Being a tourist was a nice experience to try Ramen in Boston!!!

WakuWaku Ramen is a ramen shop located in Boston’s Chinatown, although there are other locations spread throughout the Greater Boston area as well.
We got tempura as well as their ramen. The ramen had a rich flavor in the broth, and the tempura paired well with the meal. The toppings were a good addition in the ramen, and the noodles were firm and chewy, just what you’d expect from a ramen noodle.

Feb 6 2026, This place hits the spot on a cold winter day. I had the beef ramen and it was creamy, flavourful and incredibly tasty. There were varieties of ramen, something for everyone, highly recommend!

Great service and awesome food. Signature Ramen was great. Pork cutlet comes on the side. Really crispy. The beef rice bowl and the miso kimchi were enjoyed as well.
