Great place if your in the area. Big time supporter of the Trail community that comes through here. When I am in the area I will visit everytime.everything. You could spend days looking at all the stuff they have the place decorated with.

10/10 would recommend stopping by! Not only is the atmosphere welcoming, but the owners were kind and generous. Food and drinks were also great and were priced very responsibly. They even had live music! We found this place while riding along the North Coast bike trial and couldn’t have been luckier. They opened up their property to us to camp for the evening and made sure we even had a safe, dry, warm place to take cover if the weather took a turn. Darlene and her husband couldn’t have been more welcoming!

We dipped into a time warp that was warm and fun. It was lunch so you order at the tavern/bar side. We had the rueban sandwich w fries and BLT w fries. They were generous w the meats and fries. Though we had tea w our meals, they have an extensive bar listing of beers and wine. I hope to go back for dinner when the food truck comes! Their dinner menu was tempting but didnt start til later, so did the live band that was setting up to play.(We were lunching ) Stop in if your passing through, you wont regret it. There is indoor and outdoor, on the porch, seating. We will be back for dinner soon!

This place is one of a kind I could have stayed here hours looking at everything. Came here with a poker run had the Rueben it was ok but the chicken bacon ranch flatbread was AMAZING. bartender was super friendly and efficient considering the large group that came in at once

Had chicken wings and fries. The fries were brown and soggy, overdone on the outside or greasy and underdone on the inside. Probably one of the worst serving of fries ever outside of On Tap in Medina. The chicken wings were ok, but they advertised in their menu, full size chicken wings, they were not. The wings were just like anywhere else I have had them, cut in halves. Nothing was on the tables, condiments were in a shelf and you needed to get them yourself. If you wanted to order your food, you had to go to the bartender. Everything was self serve outside of them bringing it to your table. The prices of drinks were confusing and he told us happy hour but the price on the drink menu was the same price. So, no happy hour? Confusing. The restaurant itself has potential it seems or was good at one time. I realize in the area they are in, it is hard to get workers for the place but depends to how much they were willing to pay the help. Its not always what it appears. This place was not for me.

The Wakeman Elevator is a stop along Ohio’s 1,444 mile Buckeye Trail for hikers! Last summer when I was thru hiking the trail I got caught in a really bad thunder storm when I got into Wakeman. The elevator was closed at the time, but the owner picked up my call and drove over to let me in and spend the night out of the rain. It was a great experience and I was really touched by the kindness of this place. I’ll have to come back and try the food- I’m sure it’s amazing! A wonderful place run by incredible people.

We at our motorcycle meeting there. The staff was excellent. Bloody Mary was great. Bartender can make some good drinks. Could use more parking but other than that we had a great time.

We meet there once a year for our fall meeting of the Lake Erie Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America , about 35-40 attend here with a lite lunch. The bloody Mary drinks are a meal !

Went here on a recent poker run. The service was amazing for the amount of people they had. It’s a cozy place and one of the best rueben sandwiches I’ve ever had! I’ll be going back.
