I barely or almost never posted the reviews. Just randomly found this place on Google map and failed in love! One of the best pokes my husband and I had. I love my mixed salad. My husband got the plate with 3 choices of poke. The staff was super friendly. The moment we walked in we knew it would be good! We love support the locals. Visiting Oahu for a week and definitely will come back to this hidden gem!

God this place is incredible. A real family spot and true local joint. The food is incredible, the portions are generous, and the price is hard to beat. We hand a bunch of their breakfast plates and substituted the rice for their fried rice – which was so classic and delicious. We also had their limu poke and spicy tuna poke. Both were so buttery and Ono. Better that foodland! I wish this place was closer to home but it’s such a good excuse to cruise east side.

Place is a tourist trap. Pretty sure the other reviews are either fake or incentivised to leave a 5 star review. We came here because of the great reviews. Showed up early, ordered early and then a tour bus came and they served everyone else before us. Chicken was dry, tuna looked old and grey and when we asked for our food they didn’t seem to care. Was actually the worst poke I’ve had on the island. Not good.

Great pit stop for breakfast while doing the 16 places island tour. Had the #1 breakfast combo. Had 2 scoops of white rice, scrambled eggs and bacon. Delicious, hot and ready to go!

Loved stopping here for breakfast. They were accommodating to a dairy allergy, which gave my wife yummy French Toast. My meat lovers omelette was also very good. Loved supporting local business.

Recently visited this place together with my family. Of all poke places on the Island, I’d say Waimanalo Poke Stop was the best. Food was great, and the owner was super friendly. Would love to visit again on my next trip to Hawaii.

Wanted to try something local for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised about this place! UBE Pancakes are a must!!! Legit one of the best pancakes I’ve had! Poke was also really fresh and sides were delicious! And I also go the breakfast with spam and fried rice!! Felt comforting and familiar. 10/10 recommend!

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!:)

Fried rice is amazing. We got breakfast but the lunch specials look great!

They also have ready made food for a fast stop if that’s what’s you’re looking for. Musubis, fried chicken, fried noodles, hotdog and rice.

Of course we had to try the Poke at a Poke stop:) SO FRESH!!!!

If you’re in the Waimānalo area and looking for an authentic, local, and non-touristy spot to grab some amazing food, The Waimānalo Poke Stop is a must!

We started with the Nalo Fried Special with Spam, and wow—talk about comfort food. The rice was flavorful and loaded with chopped green onions, little bits of spam, and what I’m pretty sure were chopped pink Naruto rice cakes. Add in the eggs, and it was everything you could want in a hearty, satisfying dish—especially if you’re a spam lover like me.

Next up were the ube pancakes, which were honestly a showstopper. Soft, fluffy, and perfectly cooked, topped with fresh blueberries, strawberries, whipped cream, and a generous drizzle of rich ube sauce. The portion size was spot-on for two people to share without feeling overly heavy, and every bite had that unique sweet, earthy flavor of ube. Definitely did not disappoint.

For the main event, we tried the Fresh Poke Plate, and it was hands down some of the best poke I’ve had. We chose the Ahi Shoyu and Limu (Hawaiian) poke—both super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The plate came with two scoops of rice, seaweed, cucumber, crab mix, and this sweet and spicy dried fish called Daegu, which added a nice little kick and crunch. Since I love poke nachos, I ordered a side of chips to scoop everything up with—and it was the perfect combo!

Beyond the food, the service here was wonderful. The woman at the front counter was so sweet and helpful. She took the time to answer all of our questions with a smile and made ordering super easy.

All in all, The Waimānalo Poke Stop is the real deal—delicious food, great service, and a true local gem. Skip the tourist traps and come here instead. You won’t regret it!
