The food is amazing. The sides are delicious. I can’t wait to come back and bring my friends.
Fried rice is amazing. We got breakfast but the lunch specials look great!
They also have ready made food for a fast stop if that’s what’s you’re looking for. Musubis, fried chicken, fried noodles, hotdog and rice.
Of course we had to try the Poke at a Poke stop:) SO FRESH!!!!
We started with the Nalo Fried Special with Spam, and wow—talk about comfort food. The rice was flavorful and loaded with chopped green onions, little bits of spam, and what I’m pretty sure were chopped pink Naruto rice cakes. Add in the eggs, and it was everything you could want in a hearty, satisfying dish—especially if you’re a spam lover like me.
Next up were the ube pancakes, which were honestly a showstopper. Soft, fluffy, and perfectly cooked, topped with fresh blueberries, strawberries, whipped cream, and a generous drizzle of rich ube sauce. The portion size was spot-on for two people to share without feeling overly heavy, and every bite had that unique sweet, earthy flavor of ube. Definitely did not disappoint.
For the main event, we tried the Fresh Poke Plate, and it was hands down some of the best poke I’ve had. We chose the Ahi Shoyu and Limu (Hawaiian) poke—both super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The plate came with two scoops of rice, seaweed, cucumber, crab mix, and this sweet and spicy dried fish called Daegu, which added a nice little kick and crunch. Since I love poke nachos, I ordered a side of chips to scoop everything up with—and it was the perfect combo!
Beyond the food, the service here was wonderful. The woman at the front counter was so sweet and helpful. She took the time to answer all of our questions with a smile and made ordering super easy.
All in all, The Waimānalo Poke Stop is the real deal—delicious food, great service, and a true local gem. Skip the tourist traps and come here instead. You won’t regret it!
