My first impression when walking in here for the first time was how decrepit the place was. It was dingy and dirty, and worst of all there were multiple big flies. I couldn’t help but think of all of the health codes that were being broken at this place potentially…
Upon trying to order, I had a couple questions for the cashier, and he seemed almost irritated at my questions and overall acted like he didn’t really want me to be there, despite the fact that it was completely empty and they probably needed my business more than ever.
The food itself was OK. It was edible, I wouldn’t say that it was amazing though.
Probably the most annoying part, though was the way that they prepared the to go bag for us. The sauce container had leaked all over everything and my niece and I were on the go so we wanted to eat the food at the park and it was extremely messy. We got sticky sauce all over our to go containers, utensils, napkins, the bag, and our hands.. it just seemed really sloppy and made me assume that they don’t put much effort into making this a pleasant experience for people. Lastly, and this is a minor thing, but my had to go container had a hole in it.
Probably wouldn’t return here.

I buy here a lot but this is my last time . I bought two orders of the same ( BBQ Mix Plate ) . One box the short rib had meat and the other box the short rib barely had any meat , was mostly bone and the price is $17.75 per order ♂️ ..as you can see in the picture, the right box has chicken at bottom , short rib with barely any meat is in the middle and the beef that is above it is teriyaki steak , not part of the short rib

First time trying this place. Picked it up for dinner. The food is good. I prefer the chicken vs the ribs. Ribs are a little tough to eat. Love the Mac salad and my husband enjoyed the pot stickers. Would eat there again.

Customer service was amazing and the food was just as good. I got the chicken katsu and the portion size was huge for a good price. It can with a big amount of sauce and the chicken was beautifully crispy. Definitely exceeded my expectations and will be coming back.

Sitting here reading all the reviews thinking man these people suck lol, best hawaiana ive ever had and the hole in the containers are to keep the food from steaming up, never once seen a fly in the kitchen and the portions are better than any hawaiin bbq ive ever had and the best macaroni salad and katsu sauce (ps they put the sauce in small bag now for the karens)

Great Hawaiian food, reminds me of being in Honolulu. Highly recommend the Moco Loco and chicken teriyaki.
Don’t bother with the mini version of the loco moco, get the regular size, you will love it, I guarantee it!
There’s a breakfast platter of rice, eggs, and Portuguese sausage I want to go back and try next time.
They also have a wide assortment of Hawaiian sodas.

We got take out kalua pork. It was quite salty, but very flavorful. The rice it came with was decent. We ordered it without the macaroni salad, so I can’t comment on that. We did get it with cabbage, though because that is off menu it was difficult to order. I wish they had more vegetables on the menu to combine with the meat and rice.
Overall the place felt very authentic. Good quality food for the price. If it had been 20 degrees warmer outside with chickens running everywhere I would have thought I was back on Kauai.

Hit the spot. I had the curry beef stew with the beef patty and teriyaki beef, malasadas, and fries. Curry beef chunks were tasty and tender, beef patty was also tasty and tender overall the meat and everything was really good. Really glad I came here!
Service was great, order was ready for pick up. Busy area, there is a parking lot inside the block and then a short walk if you can’t find parking up front.

Best authentic Loco Moco i have had outside of Hawaii. Hands down the best Mac salad I always get extra to take home. The gravy is perfect, egg is always cooked to perfection and again the Mac salad is top tier.
They have a half order “mini” or a full order. The full comes with 2 patties and 2 eggs. Both are great options.
Parking lot around the back makes parking easy.
Absolutely delicious. I crave loco mocos from here often. Hits the spot every time!

I can’t speak for every dish they serve but do not order the volcano chicken it does not live up to its name at all it WASN’T SPICY AND had WAY TOO MUCH SUGAR in it I couldn’t even finish my meal because it was disgustingly sweet I could barely taste the chili flavor or any spice at all. I want my 15$ I spent back because that was terrible you cannot honestly call that volcano chicken I feel a little sick after eating it because of how much sugar was in that sauce it was nauseating.
