We had a wonderful meal with friends at Waikiki Gangnam Style American restaurant. The food was great the service was provided with a smile and a warm feeling that made us feel more like family than a customer. If you’re looking for a great Korean based meal you cannot go wrong getting your meal on here.

We stopped by for brunch just by chance
The staff and the owner were so kind and welcoming, and the place had such a cozy, friendly vibe
Honestly, I didn’t expect much — but the food was so delicious! 🙂
We had the omelet, salmon eggs benedict, and French toast waffles — everything was amazing.
I’ll definitely come back again during my trip!

Stopped by Waikiki Gangnam Style at the Ramada Hotel in Waikiki for brunch and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered omelette and french toast. They were all tasty and fairly priced. My favorite was the cheese omelette. The staff were welcoming and kind. The total came out to about $40, including drink for two of us. Relaxed atmosphere and good service. Highly recommend!

I could go on and on about how pleasant of an experience this was. The food was phenomenal and the service was SO good. The man and woman taking care of us(possibly the owners) were so genuine and nice. Polite, kind, patient.

It’s so nice to go to a touristy area and not be treated like a tourist. When we left the man helping us throughout the night gave us bottles of water, bowed and thanked us. Seriously, so incredibly genuine. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

I would say that because of the holiday rush, the restaurant service was very slow, terrible, and unprofessional. We sat down at our table and looked at the menu, but waited a very long time without any waiter coming to take our order. I had to go and get the plastic chopsticks, forks, spoons, and napkins myself. A long time after we finally ordered, the waiter brought out the drinks and four small plates of various kinds of kimchi. The food took a very long time to arrive. Many other customers couldn’t wait any longer and left before even ordering.
Someone had ordered the dish, but when the waiter brought it out, they had already left. The waiter didn’t know which table had ordered the dish. We were hungry, and since no one else claimed the dish the waiter had just brought out, we agreed to take it even though we hadn’t ordered yet. The Korean food suited us perfectly.

I found this Korean restaurant on the 1st floor of the Ramada Hotel in Waikiki
They serve brunch in the morning, and everything was way more delicious than I expected
The Korean lady owner was sooo kind, and all the staff were super friendly too

I like it. I’m a local staying in the area this weekend and wanted some local Korean food, so I stopped by around lunchtime. I ordered the Meat Jun and BBQ chicken plate to go. At around $27, this is pretty good for Waikiki. I was surprised at how good their banchan was. I really liked their potato salad, salted cucumber and kimchi.

I would recommend this restaurant for anyone staying nearby and wants an introduction to Korean food. So, Meat Jun is supposedly a Hawaii thing and supposedly not made anywhere else. In Korea, I believe it’s called Yukjeon. However, I don’t believe it’s common.

Go all out and try some Soju (Korean alcohol), Chimaek (fried chicken with Korean beer), Sizzling Kalbi (marinaded short ribs), Somaek (Soju and Korean Beer).

Be adventurous and try some Makgeolli (Korean rice wine). One of my favorite pairings is Naengmyeon (Cold noodle soup) with sizzling kalbi and Makgeolli. Unfortunately, they don’t have Naengmyeon on the menu.

Today I got to try the Galbitang (Beef Short Rib Soup) and it was very tasty with much of tasty side dishes. Moreover, the waitress was very helpful and friendly.
