The staff and the owner were so kind and welcoming, and the place had such a cozy, friendly vibe
Honestly, I didn’t expect much — but the food was so delicious! 🙂
We had the omelet, salmon eggs benedict, and French toast waffles — everything was amazing.
I’ll definitely come back again during my trip!
It’s so nice to go to a touristy area and not be treated like a tourist. When we left the man helping us throughout the night gave us bottles of water, bowed and thanked us. Seriously, so incredibly genuine. I would give them 6 stars if I could.
Someone had ordered the dish, but when the waiter brought it out, they had already left. The waiter didn’t know which table had ordered the dish. We were hungry, and since no one else claimed the dish the waiter had just brought out, we agreed to take it even though we hadn’t ordered yet. The Korean food suited us perfectly.
They serve brunch in the morning, and everything was way more delicious than I expected
The Korean lady owner was sooo kind, and all the staff were super friendly too
My hotel was nearby, so I just walked in by chance — and it was such a good choice!
Especially the omelet… OMG it was AMAZING!! ️✨
I would recommend this restaurant for anyone staying nearby and wants an introduction to Korean food. So, Meat Jun is supposedly a Hawaii thing and supposedly not made anywhere else. In Korea, I believe it’s called Yukjeon. However, I don’t believe it’s common.
Go all out and try some Soju (Korean alcohol), Chimaek (fried chicken with Korean beer), Sizzling Kalbi (marinaded short ribs), Somaek (Soju and Korean Beer).
Be adventurous and try some Makgeolli (Korean rice wine). One of my favorite pairings is Naengmyeon (Cold noodle soup) with sizzling kalbi and Makgeolli. Unfortunately, they don’t have Naengmyeon on the menu.
Meats in general were good.
It wasn’t busy for breakfast and fast service. Great K-pop music on TV. Chilled and big place.
