My favorite ahi katsu on the island. You’ll need to follow on instagram and check their story to see when he’ll be open. Usually open a couple times a week though! It’s just a food truck on the side of the road, you can just grab and take to a park or to Haleiwa to eat. Awesome staff. Amazing fish.

Whenever I’m in the island, I make sure to get a taste of their ahi katsu and poke. It’s the best I’ve ever tasted in the island. Unfortunately, they no longer sell drinks so better bring your own. In terms of schedule, make sure to check their Instagram page for any changes or announcements. It’s kind of far but always worth the drive.

Ahi Katsu, an ahi steak, breaded with panko to form a crispy crunchy crust and slathered with mayo and Katsu sauce, along with steamed white rice and tossed salad, for $13 is their speciality. Add a nice scoop of ahi poki with taegu (spicy Korean codfish strips) for $2. The plate is immense! Can share or save extra for later. Can get a large scoop of poki over rice for $10. Opens at 11:00 but come early because may sell out before closing. Truck days and location may vary so monitor their Instagram account for updates… waialuaslunchwagon_ for updates. The family that runs the truck is so nice and hard-working! Enjoy!

Their ahí is freshest & top 3 on the island. Their ahí kastu is best one on the island. They always let you know in their IG page when they will be there but problem is they are no punctual with their time. Some of us literally come from another side of island and be there at certain time sometimes they are super late ): if they can fix that issue then they definitely have 4.9 – 5 stars !
