Wonderful gumbo, seafood pasta, and key lime pie. Staff were amazing and it was the biggest meal I’ve had in a while. Everything is obviously cooked fresh so amazing flavor, but don’t come here for a quick meal it took me about 70 minutes total
I was in town for a few weeks for work and every time I’d ask the locals where to eat, everybody would tell me that there’s only two places to get a good meal. The first is at the HEB and the second is at wahoos. This place came recommended to me easily 30 times, and I finally gave it a shot. Absolutely delicious. was terrible…the watress took the wrong order and told us WE ordered the wrong thing..which double or tripled out ticket! I ordered a steak and lobster tail..it came with a sauce on it with spicy hot shirmp i did not order! My husband ordered redfish he got redfish with a sauce with shrimp on it also!! And the lobster came after my family had finished eating and it was rock hard..i just wanted steamed i think it must have been grilled..all terrible!! And was told no achol and i saw a whole bar!! It was my birthday she did not ask us if we wanted a piece of cake..we were charged for 8 meals and had 4..outragous!! For Kerrville!! The chef came out with the waitress for the next table the man liked his…and the waitress made sure she didnt bring him to ours!! She knew we were upset!!! And did nothing!!

Talk about some great seafood! Everything about this place was great! The recommendations, the food, the drinks, and the service! It was our first time in Kerrville and our waitress recommended some other great places in the area! Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Had the new special tonight! Red fish jubilee salad. Words can not express the amazing flavors that set my taste buds dancing! Such a delishous dish. Hope it makes it on the menu. Will totally be back for it again. Great for a light summer dinner. Sweet with a bit of spice! Delishous! Our service was impeccable! Friendly and prompt. Love this place! I grew up in galveston. I know good seafood. And this is it! Gaidos of the hill country! Sorry about the picture. It was so good, I ate it all!

My husband & I have been saving our 1st visit to Wahoo’s for when our extended family came to town for Thanksgiving holiday. We were impressed with the atmosphere and the remodel. Our waitstaff was kind and helpful. There were 10 of us and all but my husband got the fried cod. Beautiful presentation! My husband ordered a shrimp cocktail. It was so tough, I noticed him slicing them with a knife. He couldn’t eat even half of them & eventually sent them back. When we questioned the waitress, she told us the manager said “that’s what you get when ordering shrimp cocktail” and didn’t even offer to bring anything else. I had to share my meal with him. Manager didn’t even make an appearance at our table. I was shocked at the response and certainly didn’t want to make a scene in front of a crowd. Surely they must realize, at our age, that wasn’t the 1st time we’ve eaten shrimp cocktail! I also noticed everyone at our table commenting on how greasy the cod was, but it wasn’t that bad. The appetizers were fabulous. We had swamp fries & cerveche. We don’t mind paying $16 for a decent shrimp cocktail. But I don’t intend to return, based solely on the response from the nonexistent managers sarcastic reply. A restaurant manager should strive to satisfy local clientele supporting their establishments. We all left feeling a bit belittled. What they didn’t know was we had a high ranking city official within our group. Too bad.

This place is amazing! It was recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint at all. I had the Don, and my wife had the chicken alfredo. Both dishes were amazing. The appetizer was the swamp fries, and they were delicious. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys great food. A must stop and taste place.

This was such a nice surprise! We were wanting dinner and we’re on our way to our air b&b and saw this resturant and I’m so glad we stopped in. Great and friendly service! The gator appetizer was seriously probably the best gator we’ve ever had. My Catfish & Oysters was excellent and my husband said his Mahi was awesome. The food is great! The key lime pie is so good it has the right amount of lime and sweet and it’s so silky smooth. Overall this place was so good and budget friendly as well. We’ll be definitely stopping here on our way out of Kerville! Highly recommended!

We went here for my dad’s birthday and it did not disappoint!!! I had the red fish pontchartrain and it was honestly a 10/10. The wine sauce was so decadent and there was lump crab and shrimp on top. We had crab-cakes for an appetizer and goodness those were amazing too. We wanted seafood next to where my dad lives so we tried this place out on a whim, not expecting anything special but WOW the staff and food was unbelievable. I have been nonstop talking about this place for almost a week. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bigger is not always better, we have been eating at Wahoo’s for several years. We always had an outstanding meals until they opened the new big location. We have ate 3 meals at new location 1st was on par with what we have come to expect, last 2 have been disasters. Over cooked steaks, burnt nasty fried sea food, staff not the same as quality as old staff. Just not even close to the old quality
