Great blackened fish tacos and enchiladas. Not sure how they do it but the fresh whole jalapenos in the salsa bar always seem to be hotter than other places…give those a try if you like an extra kick.

Went here on a whim one Sunday night and was impressed on every level. All tacos and sauces were delicious. The crispy fish was so good we got back in line to order more. Service was quick and super friendly. We will be back!!

$16 for a pile of white rice?!?!! At a fast food place? Our last visit was over $75 for 3 meals which we wrote off as a mistake & overlooked. Wahoos has gone significantly downhill in quality yet raised prices exponentially. The employee didn’t seem to care at all about our concerns. Last Wahoos order for us for good.

This place is a hidden gem! If you are looking for a fast option of Mexican food this is the place. I love the protein bowl (Paleo bowl). It’s healthy, flavorful and low in calories. You can get any of the sauces or salsas on the side. I recommend the cilantro and spicy sauce. So good!

This particular Wahoos has been a disappointment the last two times I ordered take-out Chicken Taquitos, Soup, veggies and chips for a total of $38. The taquitos looked like they had reheated them from the day before. The salsa they gave us was the watery stuff instead of the Pico delicious gillo I ordered and the soup was awful. At least they didn’t ruin the veggies. Since we never eat in (we have a rescue dog with abandonment issues) we didn’t know how awful the food was until we opened the bag (that they tie up so you aren’t inclined to wreck the bag). Won’t be returning to this restaurant because it’s also the second time we received awful food.

I love their Paleo bowl, I can order it with different types of meats (carnitas, asada, salmon, chicken, shrimps or spicy chicken) and it’s a healthy option that I can eat even for lunch or dinner

This is the original wahoo’s fish taco. I don’t live in orange county, but compared to the ones in my area THIS IS AMAZING. Great food, and amazing fish tacos. I wish the ones is my area were like this one. Totally go here if you are in costa mesa.

Wahoo’s has been my staple “healthy takeout” for years. I ordered last week and my normal dish – banzai veggie bowl – was completely different. The sauce did not taste the same and the chicken was cut up into tiny crumbs instead of big juicy chunks. It was still “okay” but unfortunately won’t be a frequent order for me anymore.
