Cool spot. The steak tenderloin tips are amazing. Make sure Carissa is your bartender. Friendly, personable. Cool spot for a quick bite and some drinks. The band they had was good too.

Pros: they had live music at lunchtime that was pleasant and easy to listen to. The open air seating with overhead cover was great. Nice light breeze, but out of the light showers we are experiencing today. Not overly crowded and seemed to be plenty of staff moving about. Food delivery was surprisingly quick once we placed our order.

So-so: our drink order was taken quickly but we didn’t know the local brews were canned and they didn’t bring glasses. I definitely don’t like to drink an IPA from the can so I waited to catch our server to ask for a glass. We didn’t see him for a good wait, so I finally I flagged down a random server and they brought us one glass, even though two of us had ordered beers. I guess I needed to be more specific! We got the second glass after our server finally looked at our table. If he had been the only server on the floor I’d have had more understanding of the lack of attention, but he wasn’t. He seemed to have three tables. When he did finally pass close enough to our table to flag down he said he’d get back to us. ‍♀️

The food: mixed reviews. I ordered the blackened fish sandwich, which was triple tip, white and flaky. The fish itself was very mild, so the blackening seasoning and garlic aioli really jazzed it up. I paid the up charge for the Caesar side. It was fine. I did like the sandwich. The Brioche roll stood up to the fillings, although after a few bites I removed the top and ate it as an open faced with knife and fork. This, for me, was exactly the way to eat it!
My husband ordered the fish and chips, which was a huge disappointment. The batter crust was too heavy, not crispy, and a bit doughy. He ended up taking off all the crust and just eating the haddock, which had a nice flavor. The French fries were very skinny, tasty, but also not any sort of crisp. Sort of like fast food fries after they’ve sat around a while.

In the end, we would go back, but would definitely not recommend the fish and chips. I also learned to ask when ordering if the beer is draft or canned, since it didn’t specify.

Went to Wahoo Willie’s for the first time today since we were down at Ft. Myers Beach. My family gets to come to the beach more often than I, because I work. They have come to Wahoo Willie’s before, and recommended it to me…Today, I got to try it! I ordered the Double Cheeseburger with Bacon Jam, my wife ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, and my son ordered a fish sandwich that was blackened…We also ordered some Loaded Fries…What can I say but WOW! and Wow! The food was delicious…(I tried both my wife’s and my son’s sandwiches). And WOW!!! The service was GREAT, the FOOD was AMAZING, and my burger was HUGE!!!! The staff was VERY FRIENDLY! I actually went and talked to the manager, who, when I approached her to ask if she was the manager, she looked as if she was worried that I didn’t like the food!!! But I told her it was AMAZING, and to look for a 5 star review!!! This is gonna be our REGULAR spot to get a bite on the beach!!! It’s a little out of the way, (Not RIGHT on the beach) but WORTH the walk!! Prices are fair for the beach, and the menu has a nice variety. If you’re looking for a place to get some grub with a nice atmosphere when you’re at Ft. Myers Beach, THIS is the place!!!! We will DEFINITELY make this a regular stop!!!

We visited for dinner and found the wait staff to be friendly and efficient, with food arriving promptly. However, the drinks were packed with ice and noticeably light on alcohol, which was a drawback.

Appetizers:
Bang Bang Shrimp – The standout of the appetizers, packed with flavor and well-prepared.

Oysters – Just okay; wouldn’t order them again. They lacked a strong appeal.

Chicken Quesadilla – Good, with solid flavors and satisfying portions.

Main Courses:
Stuffed Shrimp Meal – A flavorful garlic dish that delivered well.

Buffalo Shrimp Flatbread – A lighter option, well-balanced with good taste.

Cheese Flatbread – Simple and enjoyable.

Supreme Pizza – Tasty, but needed a sprinkle of salt to enhance the flavors.

Desserts:
Beignets – Good, though smaller than expected.

Churro Cake – Great, with a rich texture and bold flavor.

Carrot Cake – Largest portion of the three, made in-house, and fairly good.

Overall, the service was solid, the food had some standout dishes, while a few items needed more seasoning or refinement. The drinks could use improvement, particularly in their alcohol-to-ice ratio.

We had a few drinks here on 7/26/25. We didn’t eat any food. The place has a nice atmosphere. We sat facing the street so we could people watch. We will go back and try some food next time down that way!

This is the first place we visited when we came to Fort Myers. When we arrived, the atmosphere was great even though it was the middle of the day because they had live music. The waiter was kind, knowledgable, and able to recommend and explain everything we were interested in. They even provided a small car for my little one to play with. The food was delicious! I saw they also have nice offers for happy hour, but we didn’t have a chance to try it. All in all- give it a try if you are in FM. 🙂

Our group are there for lunch and it was ok…if I could give half stars is give them a 3.5. Wait staff were courteous but not overtly friendly or smiling. They have very limited items on the menu for a dairy allergy specifically and for that reason we wouldn’t be back. I had the chicken kabobs on rice which was dairy free and it was delicious and would recommend it but the rest of our group just thought it was ok. It was pretty pricey for lunch but they did have live music which was fun. No water view at all, parking isn’t free for the restaurant and is $5/hr down that end with parking behind the restaurant being $10. It is open air eating with it being open to the street which can be loud with several motorcycles going by.
