Food Tastes like dirty bath water. Me and my wife have been ordering from here for years. Its always been good. The past 3 times it’s been terrible. Anything deep fried has a horrible taste. Like they don’t change out their grease. The food has lost its flavor.

I have always ordered from here but I’ll be rethinking that after tonight’s meal. The fried rice is not actually fried. It’s white rice. There’s no egg and it’s bland like white rice is. I’m sad that this place has gone down hill.

It’s a very hit or miss spot. Lunch seems like it’s made fresh and dinner is more like reheated lunch. Dinner is very dry, chewy, or drenched in sauce to cover up it up. Seems like they just don’t care anymore. I went in store to order and pick up to see if the quality would be better. No, it was still gross and a waste of money.
This place wasn’t always like this, but has been on a steady decline. Sad ending to a place that was once loved. Just because it’s been around for a long time doesn’t mean it should stay. Our town is blooming, we can not keep supporting places like this due to the history.

Today was not a good pick up! My chicken fried rice was dry. I asked for extra crab meat, and received less to none plus they were small chopped like I’ve never seen before! They were tough crewy and very unsatisfying to my ideal taste I believe there artificial.

With inflation now a days I can be very critical of my food. If I have a bad experience or the food isn’t good then I don’t go back. Wah mei has always been my fav Chinese in and around Nicholasville. It’s never been bad but I did feel like it wasn’t as good as it used to be. But I think they are making some positive changes from the updated decor to the food. Dinner tonight was the best I’ve had from there in a long time

The food was terrible. The sweet and sour chicken was soggy. The sweet and sour sauce was flavorless red water. We ordered white rice and received pork fried rice with chunks of dried out pork. We live two minutes away and my husband picked it up immediately. Wah Mei used to be fairly good, but now they’re cutting corners and charging more.

This is the second time I ordered food, I had to throw out the first time due to food tasting old..I gave it another try and much to my dismay my egg foo young was burnt, the rice was old, soup had no flavor. Garlic shrimp tasted like something I’ve never tasted..it’s a shame the food has gotten so bad..
