My boyfriend and I had lunch at Wahlburgers inside the Gold Country casino in Oroville.
I have been wanting to try this place for a long time! We lucked out and enjoyed their lunch special..
Bbq bacon burger with fries. Only 12 bucks! Burger was juicy and they didn’t skimp on the bacon! Fries crunchy and delicious. Love their Wahlburger sauce ( for the fries ).
I also ordered the 3 sliders on the regular menu. I especially liked the chicken slider..had a golden crunch to it! The other 2 sliders were good as well. Tons of leftovers!
I also tried their expresso martini ..Tammy did a great job on making it!
Service was quick and the place is super clean! Nice containers for leftovers and love the take out bag that closes for a good seal!
It was a Great experience and we both enjoyed the food!
BTW….THEY HAVE A FULL BAR INSIDE THE RESTAURANT

• Noticeably slow night. 1 worker behind bar, 2 on the floor and 2-3 in kitchen area. Essentially, staffed.

• Ordered “starters” and never brought them out until halfway into the meal and it was over fried/burned.
• Our group couldn’t eat together/same time because 3 of the 6 basic orders, were made wrong.
• Fries were over cooked and ridiculously crunchy.

• Truffle fries are a joke, and didn’t even come with the aioli sauce.

So, we took a friend here for dinner tonight. Fortunately, it was not busy, as there was one person in the back, and one in front serving, between door dash orders (many) and 15 folks at tables.
From order to food on table was about 35 minutes, and drinks about 40. Either we picked a night there simply wasn’t staffing, or there’s a shortage of coverage that needs addressing. We weren’t in a hurry regardless, and were content to chill and relax, so this didn’t effect our experience.
To their credit, food was -excellent-, all arrived hot and fresh, and the fellow in the back (Josh) killed it with the number of orders he was working on solo. Drinks were on point. Alex (Cat) was super polite and kind in her service, and apologized for the long waits, but everything asked for was delivered, delicious, and we had a great time.
Sincerely, huge kudos to the staff present. They nailed it 100%.
The long and short, slider flights were delicious, boozy milkshakes were aces, and despite clearly being under pressure and covering the whole place with two people, the staff did awesome.
If you’re willing to wait a bit, hecking good burgers.

Staff was excellent and went above and beyond! Made it feel a bit like a tourist attraction.
Atmosphere and aesthetics were great!
The takeout bags and boxes were really nice.
Parking was packed
As for the food:
Onion rings were tasty, but very greasy
French Fries were too salty
The burgers were tasty, but there was nothing that made them stand out from other burgers.
Sides were reasonably prized, but I thought the burgers were a little expensive.
Staff seems to like cooking them medium, though getting them “Well Done” wasn’t an issue.

Great service! The GM Tammy was very kind and helpful, my aunt was so happy to have tried this restaurant finally as she grew up in Boston. Tammy was helpful explaining how the menu worked and took the time to have a little conversation with my aunt. The food was delicious, I’ve never seen sweet potatoe tots before but they were bomb. We will for sure be coming back. Thank you Tammy for a good meal.

We placed an online order and were only informed at pickup that the restaurant was out of fried pickles and that their milkshake machine was not working (meaning they couldn’t make the two milkshakes we had already paid for). To make matters worse, we were told they could not issue a refund in-store because the order was placed online and that we would need to go through “the app.”
There is no app. We ordered through their online ordering system, which then directed us to contact the store directly for a refund. Olo, the third-party system they use, states that it only acts as a conduit for the order and cannot assist with individual guest refunds. So essentially, we were bounced around with no clear path to getting our money back.
On top of all that, the smash burger we ordered with grilled onions had barely any onions at all (see attached photos). For the price and the brand, this level of service and food quality is unacceptable. Overall, poor communication, lack of accountability, and a disappointing meal. We won’t be ordering again.

Fast to seat us, they weren’t busy either. I say this cuz some places can look empty and still not even acknowledge you for a while. Service was great. Food was good. The sliders was the perfect dish for me because it was hard to pick and I got three different options but you can select differently. Like all three of a kind of 2 and 1. The fries/onion rings are separate to add but nice and salty and crispy for both. Hubby got onion rings and I got the fries. We got the spinach and parm bites which were not bad. Hubby got the Fiesta Burger and tho it was not the best he’s ever had it was still a good eats. We wasted not. He also had the chocolate shake and enjoyed that. I’m not into chocolate so much but I did taste it and must say it reminded me of the snack pack pudding lol.

The last time I had a good burger, Was 7 years ago, at the Las Vegas Wahlburgers location. Since then, I have not had a good burger in the last 7 years, until I came to the Wahlburgers in Gold County Casino. I’m a big NKOTB Blockhead, for the past almost 38 years now, so I was so excited just to be there, & buy a shirt. I’m telling you, We had the best Bacon Cheeseburger ever, aside from the other location in Vegas. I don’t really ever eat burgers, because there is no restaurant that has a good burgers, in my opinion. So this was a treat for me to actually enjoy burger. That was the absolute best Bacon Cheeseburger and onion rings ever! I will be talking about this for years to come. Lol. I still brag about the burger I had in Vegas. The young girl that helped us, was so very nice. And I had to go thank the cook, to let him know, just how much we enjoyed the food amd shake. We will be back on a regular basis now. This was the 1st time we went, and they were open. Usually we are at the casino late, and they are closed. So this was like the best treat ever. Thank you to the staff, I appreciate the great food and service! It felt like they were my family.

First time and maybe last. Went on a Sunday to watch a game there with my wife. Walked in and was greeted by a cursing waitress/bartender/hostess i guess. She was complaining about a fellow worker. She seated us and then for the rest of the time felt like we were an inconvenience being there. We ordered. Got some very bland tasting food, wife never received a drink refill, never offered desert or anything else. Just dropped the check and gone.
I understand we all have bad days at work.
But we were one of just a couple sets of people in there. Didn’t expect perfection but I would have settled for good.

We ordered online for pickup. Smash burger is essentially two very thin burned patties. They were out of fried pickles and the shake machine was not working. We were told we’d have to get are refund for shakes and pickles through to ordering app. Tried to get refunded on the app and was told we must take care of the refund at the restaurant. All in all a horrible experience for three nasty $15 burgers!
