Absolutely fantastic. Got the lunch chicken burrito special and it was great. Salsa selection is nice…try the pineapple habenero. Mexican Coke is always a plus.

Not sure what some of the other reviews are on about. It’s a new spot and maybe they were seeing some of the growing pains early on. It is a different style of Mexican food than your typical chains…this is a GOOD thing.

Since moving to Trumbull County, I have missed the wide variety of high quality ethnic foods that the DC area offered.Aside from some Italian an Greek, there isn’t much variety.
Whaka Taco changed that up.
High quality food, nicely prepared, beautifully presented. A diverse menu. Great value lunch menus. $8 for two tacos, two side, chips and salsa is good in my book.7 min from orders to food on the table.
There is room for improvement. Prices on non-specials are high. Seven buck for street corn is off the wall. The rice and black beans were bland, seemingly ununseasoned.
But Wahaka Taco offered a glimmer of hope for commercial diverse cuisine in the area. They do Grub Hub and DoorDash. But add delivery fees and surcharges to already high prices and it isn’t worth it.
That said, it’s great food. Try it.

What a fantastic new addition to the Warren area! The owner is very kind and talkative. You can tell he loves his business and community. We had chicken and pork tacos, salsa, chips and street corn. Allie excellent!! So good!!

This place is AWESOME! Stopped in on a whim and I’m so glad I did. They had so much to chose from that I had a hard time deciding. The staff were all friendly and it had a really good vibe. The decor was really cute, but the food was off the hook! I got the street corn and a carne asada burrito. I cannot wait to go back and try more of what they have to offer.

The food was delicious. I ordered the 3 grilled shrimp tacos ($15), which I don’t remember the menu name. I would absolutely order them again.

The employees were very nice, kind, hospitable and every other good thing you could say. Professional and accommodating service.

The atmosphere appeared to be an authentic Mexican setting. I loved the appearance of the place.

Soooo… why the 3 star rating instead of 5 star? With the first three things I mentioned it would absolutely, unequivocally be a 5 star rating. I wanted to stay and eat there at the inside high tops or outside tables with umbrellas, but I need a restroom readily available. You have inside and outside seating but no restrooms. I would love to bring my wife here to grab something to eat sometime. I can’t do it because I need a restroom readily available. There are no public restroom facilities and I live 20 minutes away.

This stop was in passing and I would definitely be back if I’m passing by, which is rare, and need to grab and go. But… with no restrooms this is not a destination for us to go eat out at.

I cannot rate a food service location with 4 or 5 stars if it has seating available but doesn’t even have a restroom.

Stopped in and ordered at the toast machines—elote, carnitas street tacos and a chicken achiote bowl. The elotes was absolutely incredible, the whole meal was such a symphony of color, texture and flavors. Nothing boring about this food and such a great addition to this particular area!

Had a great first experience here, but our second visit was more of a let-down. The chicharrons were wonderful the first time, but the second time they had no seasoning and were difficult to eat. The rest of our orders were similar – great the first time, but the second time we felt we paid a premium price for sub-par quality.

I still recommend giving them a shot and hope you get the experience that we had with our first visit.

This is basically a really nice brick and mortar food truck. $12 tacos and $12 burritos & chimichangas that do not come with any sides. Nowhere to sit except window seats and outside. I was actually really happy with the food. It was honestly very good and far better than Chipotle! They put a lot of shredded cabbage and radish everywhere. (Maybe it looks fancy? Maybe that’s “authentic” now?) Over-all, I would not hesitate to try the place again but there’s no shortage of Mexican restaurants that give you full service for the same price.

I don’t know why some of these reviews are
talking about flavor and poor quality, because I haven’t experienced that yet!

First time trying I got the carnitas street tacos. Everything normally on them, added some of the regular salsa, and they were good! Maybe if anything just needed a little salt and garlic. Second time trying I got the chicken street tacos and that seasoned chicken was SO good I also tried the chipotle salsa and it was SO SO good. 3 tacos, smaller corn shells, full, messy but filling! Last time we ordered I got the chicken street tacos again with the guac and chips – I could have ate that guac for days. Well balance of flavor. I also tried a few variations of their freeze drink and boba… hooked

And pricing is fair compared to some other taco places I’ve been to: Condado, Barrio.. those places are good but THOSE are what l’d consider overpriced. Not this.
Can’t wait to eat here again!

Very cool decor and service was great, but was not impressed with the size or price of the simple taco. Tops…3 bites. But if you want Authentic Mexican this would be the place to go.
