We stopped in for lunch and met some very friendly people.
My wife ordered orange chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup and I ordered the vegetable beef with fried rice and egg drop soup.
The soup was really good. Better than average.
The food came really hot and didn’t appear to have any MSG in it.
The flavor was good and the quantity was excellent for a lunch.

I have tried a few different dishes when I am in the area and I never been disappointed. I look forward to stopping and trying something new. The spring rolls and egg rolls I highly recommend. The staff is friendly and enjoyable.

This place has delicious food. I love the egg rolls because they are super stuffed! Everything we’ve had is fresh and delicious. Chicken and broccoli was full of perfectly cooked broccoli. The war su gai was all white meat with a tasty gravy. Moo goo gai pan is great. They give nice size portions too. It is take out only so we usually eat it in the car because we live about an hour away.

Customer service was awful. Spent almost $90 and the man who gave us our food YELLED at us for asking for more duck sauce. Food was subpar and over priced. Pork fried rice had no flavor, the pork was weird, crab rangoons were nasty, no one in our house liked their food. Super disappointed and if someone spends almost $90 you shouldn’t be an ass because they want a normal amount of sauce to use. Typically hole in the wall spots are good this was DISGUSTING. Rice was mushy too. Like who can’t make rice?! 90$ down the drain. Do not go here.

Hot tea was very good. Hot and sour soup was ok flavor, not excellent. The bits in it were very good, 6/10. Hot pepper pork was very good, meat and veggies very fresh and good flavor. Fried rice with it was just ok. A good pick in Sunbury.

I was so excited to see Wah Yuen has opened once again! I had lunch there this week and the food was delicious! They had good service and the chef came out to our table to see how our food was. I had the cashew shrimp and an order of crab rangoons and both were great!

This is the first time that we decided to try this restaurant because we like to visit locally owned places as they tend to have the best food, in my opinion. I had such high hopes for this place, given the reviews and the long term patrons that seem to frequent the establishment, But alas, I was disappointed. My food was all beige, the flavor was lackluster, I mean seriously this is something that I could have prepared in my own kitchen (actually, it would have been better) the green peppers would’ve been crispier and more colorful the onions would’ve been crunchier and more flavorful and the steak would not have been over cooked and slathered in a overly sweet sauce.
Our experience may not have been the greatest with this local eatery, but perhaps you will find something on the menu that satisfies your taste. I am giving this restaurant one star, because the eggroll was just OK. Support your local businesses, always!
