This place is TOP!! One of my favourite curry spots in Manchester.

I usually always order via ubereats due to convenience but thought I’d go in person for date night and they had a 20% weekday offer going on.

The restaurant itself was fairly fancy but dark so great for date nights or a quiet catch up with friends and family. My partner had a cake for me and the staff took it and handled the celebrations perfectly, our server was super kind and made sure that we were enjoying our dining experience throughout.

We ordered a sharing platter which I’ve never tried before and that was surprisingly good, a mix of lamb, salmon and chicken grilled pieces and they were incredibly succulent. For mains we got a fish and lamb curry and they were super tasty too paired with rice, naan and poppadoms as a side.

You could tell the staff and chefs are super close and they were all part of the celebrations too, we couldn’t help but give some cake too to the staff that made our experience here do great.

Great for delivery and great for eat in dining, regardless of the occasion, I wish more people came here as it was fairly quiet during the weekday we went.

We were 5 people and asked for a bigger table as the place was empty and we wanted to be comfortable in the small place.
The steward was cold and not at all welcoming.
Food was tasty but portion size is disappointing.
The steward ruined our meal by approaching us at 4:30 and stating that he received a booking for 11 people at 5 so he will need the table by then.
We didn’t have the heart to pay service fee but still paid for the people who prepared the meal for us.
Horrible attitude of the steward. He needs to know he needs to be welcoming and humble.

Chicken Briyani was really good and the Lamb keema with the buns were also good. Service was quick and efficient. Highly recommended for Indian cuisine in the Manchester area.

Was in Manchester on Tuesday for the day and ended up visiting here, had about a hour to eat before my Parking run out.

Was silently greeted and sat down, we was the only 2 people there which is fine. ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, with rice and my friend ordered a Paneer Curry with Garlic Naan. and a sweet lime soda drink.

The waiter was very quiet didn’t really say anything actually.

The drink didn’t have much fizz to it and the lime was very diluted, the portion sizes were fairly small. which means the value for money wasn’t great. the chicken tikka masala just taste like tomato soup with chicken chunks. my friend curry was similar. the naan was really small for the price.

My friend asked the water for tap water (since they are a licensed premises they have to provide it free). took about 10 minutes to get from the bar behind him to our table.

Overall for £33 was fairly expensive as we could get similar but of better quality in our home city for around £25. I was going to ask them to remove the service charge as standard but I felt bad because we were the only people there.

Came here a couple of nights ago. The food was really delicious. I can’t fault it. We had the Goan fish curry, palak paneer, bombay potatoes, pilau rice and garlic naan. The prices are very reasonable too considering it’s a city centre restaurant. There was only one waiter front of house who was very rushed as he had to do everything but we felt looked after and he was very courteous and helpful. We did wait quite a while for the main, over 45 minutes but I’m glad to say it was worth it. The manager did come over and apologised for the wait (which we appreciated) and explained that someone had called in sick. It was my first time there and I’ll definitely be back to try the dal makhani, which I was told was their speciality. I would recommend this place!

We actually ordered a lot of stuff here, and the most of it tasted wonderful, so I was originally satisfied. However, the encounter with the Pot of tea drastically altered our perception. The menu stated the pot as £3.95, however we were charged £5.95. When we asked, we were simply told that the price had changed but the menu had not been updated. We were informed that it would be authentic masala chai with ginger and spices. When the tea arrived, it was quite bland, with no masala flavour at all; it did not taste like desi chai. When we gently addressed this to the waiter, he cut us off and answered dismissively, saying “no one has ever complained before” rather than listening. The approach felt rude and disrespectful, which put us off. The problem wasn’t the pricing; it was the attitude and refusal to acknowledge feedback. It’s frustrating because the food was actually rather nice, but the customer service experience made us feel insulted and left a bad impression.

Had an amazing meal at Wah Ji Wah! We tried the butter chicken, lamb biryani, daal makhani, naan, roti, lamb chops, samosa chaat, and finished with gulab jamun and ice cream — everything was delicious. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the biryani perfectly spiced, and the lamb chops were tender and cooked to perfection. The daal makhani had that slow-cooked, comforting taste, and the samosa chaat was a real highlight — tangy, crispy, and full of flavour. To top it all off, the gulab jamun with ice cream was the perfect sweet ending.

The staff and chef were incredibly hospitable and friendly, making us feel truly welcome throughout our meal. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their service.

Highly recommended — one of the best Indian dining experiences in Manchester! Will definitely be coming back soon.

They do puchka and vada pav but the only issue i had with them is that it was very small quality. Just 4 puris in puchka and 2 very small vadas for vada pav, did not so justice on what i had to pay

The place is super expensive as compared to some other indian places

They do have quite a good selection of wine.

We had told our server clearly that we do not want any ginger piece on top as garnishing, however we still had a ginger slice in our paneer veg. The server was not apologetic when complained about it and just said, sorry its just one piece. Not something i would accept from a place where i am paying so much money

We also had 2 house flies flying over our table.
