Went for dinner on a Wednesday evening in October. Reached around 7:30pm. Was part of a bigger running group. We all picked our food from the different restaurants in the area, and grabbed some tables in the outdoor common area. There’s plenty of seating there. I had the wagyu beef with brown rice and cabbage salad. It was good quality, but a bit lower in quantity than what I would have wanted from a meal that came to 20 bucks including tips and taxes. You can use the restroom at the restaurant but need a code from the staff. The food is prepared within 5 minutes of placing the order.

This review is for happy hour only.
After picking up the kids from Deerfield Community Center around 4 PM, we stopped by Culver Drive Plaza and found Wagyu Meat & Grill offering a weekday happy hour (2–5 PM) with entrees #1–4.
We ordered two Wagyu beef bowls (#1) and got a free spicy pork bowl (#4). The beef had a smoky grilled flavor that made each bite extra satisfying. We’ll definitely return for their happy hour.

I came here for a birthday dinner and they did not disappoint. I ordered the combination plate with spicy pork and wagyu beef, cabbage, and mac salad instead of kale. The food was a bit expensive- about $20, but I enjoyed the meal. The proteins were well-seasoned and more sweet savory — akin to Cantonese/Hawaiian barbecued meats– than salty savory, which I enjoyed. If you go, see if you could sub the cabbage for another green; that’s all I would change in retrospect.

My mom and I always order the Salmon plate. It’s very delicious. We love the Kale salad that comes with it as well (it’s a good thing they sell their dressing, can’t get enough of it lol). It’s great too that we could get something for our dogs (plain chicken breast) and they really love it as well. All in all, I highly recommend this place, the owner is really nice and he’s there more often than not.

Very tasty food & generous portions. We had the moco and short ribs. Both plates were very enjoyable. Staff is friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

Over sauced beef and it doesn’t even come hot. Definitely not cooked when u order. But their reheating doesn’t even try to fake it. It’s basically cold leftovers. Asked them to heat it and they acted confused. Really first and last. The place in Fullerton is good. Somehow the rest are just crap. Portion is little too. Hope they open up a new spot soon

Portion is pretty sizable esp the rice, meat portion is ok, sides are lacking, at $16 for a combo I’d expect at least Mac salad or sth with the regular salad or more meat and less rice.
I think at this price I’d rather go to flame broiler or nick the Greek next door. Also the rice was a bit mushy.

Very solid chicken and beef bowl place. The beef is marinated in a bulgogi type of sauce while I don’t think the chicken is marinated. The chicken and beef have a nice smokey taste from the grill. The slaw that comes with the bowl is nice and fresh, and has a sweet citrus vinaigrette. Overall, this spot is a lot better than a place like flame broiler. The prices are about $1 more than flame broiler but, it’s worth it for the quality.

I’m a regular customer because wagyu is hard to find around here! I enjoy the combo plate with beef and pork. I always add the avocado and egg as well with a side of macaroni. YUM! The meat is nicely marinated and high quality. The salads are a great touch too, nice fiber kick to balance protein and carbs. Also the customer service is awesome, thank you!!

Very much enjoyed this location as this was the closest thing during the day that we were able to get to tasting Wagyu beef. All the young gentleman working the shift that day were very outgoing friendly and attentive. Food was also good they also offer a five Wagyu upon request. No indoor dining but there is an outside dining area for customers visiting that location and neighboring locations nice little set up weather was perfect
