We went to Wagyu Factory during their soft opening and had an incredible experience. Our server, Tri, was outstanding—super attentive, genuinely kind, and hyped us up the whole time, which made the night even better.

We had previously visited the Rancho Cucamonga location, and the Brea spot is on a whole other level in terms of overall experience. We’ve tried most of the Chubby Group restaurants, and this one is easily shaping up to be in my boyfriend’s and my top five. Can’t wait to come back!

First time at Wagyu Factory. We’ve been to Chubby Cattle and this was definitely a good alternative at a cheaper price. Thomas was our server and provided excellent service. Will come back for a future visit.

Great addition to the Brea area. Food is fresh and the recommendations for the meat pairing with the sides are great. We needed a restaurant like this in Brea.

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. This all-you-can-eat wagyu spot completely exceeded my expectations. The quality of the meat was outstanding—rich, buttery, and perfectly marbled. Every cut we tried was fresh, flavorful, and cooked beautifully, and the fact that it’s AYCE makes it an unbeatable value for the quality you’re getting.
What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was our server Cici. She was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She checked on us often without ever being intrusive, made great recommendations, and made sure our orders came out quickly and exactly how we wanted. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure guests have an amazing time, and that level of service really elevates the whole experience.
The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a relaxed but upscale meal. Even during busy moments, everything ran smoothly, and we never felt rushed. Portions were generous, refills were fast, and the overall flow of service was seamless.
If you’re a wagyu lover or just looking for a high-quality all-you-can-eat experience, this place is a must. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and top-tier service—especially thanks to Cici. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to everyone we know.
Highly, highly recommend!

Saw the new opening in OC so we came here for Valentine’s Day and it did not disappoint!

All the staff were super friendly, and the food was incredible, especially the sushi. If you like BBQ and sushi, this is honestly the perfect spot.

The price was also really reasonable. With the Chubby membership it was only $39.99, and even without it it’s still a great deal at $45.99 (membership is $58/year).

Favorites of the night:
#1 MVP: Skirt steak — so tender and flavorful
#2: Eel nigiri
#3: Egg tart & cheese tart (dangerously good)

Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

Tried the new wagyu factory location soft opening in brea.
It’s located in the old gyukaku location. Parking is a bit difficult to find. Highly suggest you park across the street in the park structure instead of parking lot behind the restaurant.
Atmosphere is really clean and modern
All the food is self serve and very clean and organized.
Food review: The consistency of the meat varies. Some meats are very tender some are very chewy. I understand the value park isn’t as high as their other restaurant . Being at lower end of the AYCE price point you have to take note of that not all the meats are good cuts.
Alot of varies of meat + veges + side dishes + sandwich + sushi.
Sushi rice is a bit hard. Rice to fish ratio can be adjusted but it’s ok. (A bit too much rice on the nigiri sushi)
the restaurant is a bit small so on busy day it can be 1+ hour wait time.
Definitely AYCE that i would consider visiting again Hopefully they improve on the the meat quality and maintain and cleanliness and quality of the food.

We came on a Wednesday night at 7:38pm and got seated at 8:08pm for a party of 2. Our server Audric explained the concept and layout and got us started right away. We ended up order 1 serving of the A5 Chuck Roll at the recommendation of Audric and man we are so glad we did. Soft, flavorful, rich, and beefy. Definitely get the chuck roll and not the brisket.

For the self serve areas, they have soda, sushi, dumplings, veggies, meat, soup/curry, and hot foods like sliders, tacos, egg tarts, calamari, French fries, takoyaki, and chicken. You grab what you want on a plate and take it back to eat/grill.

The meats are definitely thicker cut than KBBQ considering this is a Japanese BBQ place. You get a lot more of the beef flavor coming through. We felt like the meats overall were a bit on the chewy side which is why it was 4 stars. The beef tongue was good, but not great. Also note that most of the meats come marinated or already seasoned. We felt like they did a good job with the seasoning and marinades.

The grill at our table did not want to cooperate so for the first 30 or so minutes we basically couldn’t cook. Audric kept coming back to check on it and it would work for a few seconds then go back to limp mode. It finally started working it again and Audric was able to get us extra time due to the grill not working properly.

Overall, Audric really made our dinner great. He pushed us to get the egg tarts even though we were stuffed and we’re so glad we listened to him because those are literally the best egg tarts we’ve ever had. Audric is the best!
