I was very impressed with the food, the burgers and onion rings were amazing. The only slight disappointment was the fries. However, that didn’t detract from the overall quality of the meal, and I look forward to returning soon

Decided to have lunch here while my car was being worked on and was not disappointed! I had the Legendary Sliders w/Fries. Sliders were amazing and I loved the thick cut fries. Will definitely stop back by if I’m in the area!

Great burgers, thick if you like that kind and the meat was quality and done well. The fries were abundant and good for fries. The prices are quite high, 24 for the bacon cheeseburger with fries. You get a drink and didn’t seem like prices available for just a burger. Now was the price justified? I dunno, I can get a good burger for about 10 bucks less or more so I don’t think so personally, but it’s very good food. Overall recommended if you like fries and think awesome burgers. I just can’t hang with the price and less ability to mold to what you want.

Husband and I wanted to get “boujee burgers” for date night and Wagu Burger Shack did not disappoint! I got the bacon sliders and he got the bourbon maple burger. Burger is perfectly cooked, served with hand cut fries, and a drink of choice. They offer rhubarb juice and it’s delicious! Fries and drinks included in meal price. Staff was kind and the chef came to the table and answered any questions we had graciously. We will definitely return in the future.

Run, don’t walk to The Wagyu Burger Shack! Chef DJ is his name and grilling wagyu burgers is his game (among many other skills/talents he has). The burgers are divine! I encourage you to not be discouraged by the price. Well worth its weight in gold. The fries were out of this world as well! The chef said he cuts the fries everyday. We’ll definitely be back!

I apologize for not snapping pictures before we started eating. It just looked soooooo good! Pictured is half of my Legendary Sliders.

I had high hopes based on the reviews, but I don’t know if there was a change in ownership but extremely overpriced for what you get. Nothing special. The fries looked different from what was shown in previous reviews and comes out of bag so likely frozen. The beef patty for the burger was thin and overall just really nothing special definitely not worth $20. On a positive note that service was pleasant. Unfortunately will not be repeat customer.

Oh.my.GOD. I do NOT like onion rings and these I would slap my grandma for. Crispy Crunchy Fried pickle spears! (Yes it matters, come at me)The burger is juicy and crispy and melty and everything a GOOD burger is supposed to be. Price for the burger includes a side. Do NOT sleep on this place!

Went in today with a friend. Took a minute before someone came out. We didn’t know what we were getting so didn’t bother either of us much. Ordered our food, went to sit down. Noticed there were cards. (Loved that!) played a game of solitaire before our food came out. Very quiet in the restaurant didn’t mind it though. The food was amazing and definitely fresh! Burger was juicy, fries were crispy and delicious. My friend had the onion rings and said they were some of the best onion rings he’s ever had. Definitely would recommend, a different experience than I thought it was going to be but very pleased anyway!

The best burger and fries in Fort Wayne tucked away between Lowe’s and Pizza Hut off State Blvd. The price of $24 included the best burger you will ever, a hardy helping of fries and a drink. So good and worth the money!

I was excited to try Wagyu Shack, especially with all the buzz on Facebook and the local news. Fort Wayne doesn’t get many unique restaurant concepts, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of the hype, and I left a bit disappointed.
First, I noticed the lack of music, which I’d read was supposed to create a lively ambiance. Instead, the restaurant was unusually quiet, which felt off for a new spot aiming to bring something fresh to the city. The front door also didn’t close properly, so there was a chilly draft as I looked over the menu, which could be uncomfortable for diners in colder weather.
As for the food, I’d rate it a 6/10. My meal arrived fresh, but the fries were overcooked and burned, not ideal when spending $40 on a burger and fries. The wagyu burger itself tasted fine but didn’t feel much different from a regular burger. I was also hoping for more variety in the drink options, as they only offered three choices.
Overall, I feel like Wagyu Shack has potential, but a bit more attention to detail with the ambiance and food quality would make a big difference. I’d be open to trying it again if some of these issues are addressed, as I’d love to see it become a unique addition to Fort Wayne’s food scene.
