First time eating here and it was very good. Got the loaded hash browns and they were the best I’ve had from any restaurant in the Springfield, Branson area. Great service, friendly staff, great food and my drink never went empty. Prices are very reasonable and the amount of food for the price was nice (no skimpy portions here). Will definitely be going back to try out other items on the menu!

Loved it!
Had to share this awesome little find! My aunt and uncle took us to a breakfast spot just past Forsyth, and it was such a treat.

Now, don’t judge a book by its cover! The place itself is simple, but the second you walk in, it’s all warmth. The food was wonderful, the service was fantastic, and it just had that perfect “country comfort” feel. Everyone was so friendly, it felt like sitting down with family.

If you’re ever in the Forsyth or Branson area, you should definitely add this hidden gem to your travel list!

Stopped here for lunch on a Friday by myself during a solo motorcycle trip. There was a small group of what seemed to be local blue collar workers enjoying their Friday celebration lunch. They seemed happy and knew the staff. I Ordered the fish sandwich. Very large what I assume was a catfish filet due to the area and price. The filet made the bun look comically tiny. I cut the filet in half, added all the fixin’s, sans tarter sauce, and did what I do best. It was probably the best fried catfish I have ever had. The fish flaked and melted like butter with a nice thin and crispy crust and wasn’t too salty. Unfortunately I needed to eat lite for the rest of my day but I wanted to eat everything in front of me. Due to the price I didn’t feel like I left too much behind. So I ate half the filet and half of the fries and went back to tearing up Missouri’s best on two wheels. I will be back.

We got the single pancake with the breakfast special which came with biscuits and gravy. The pancake is the size of a medium pizza, so make sure you’re hungry. We got it with the blueberries and it kinda tasted like a s’more. The biscuits and gravy are simple but tasty. The hash browns needed seasoning and to be cooked a little longer. But everything was tasty.

This was a nice day trip for us as we visited a local favorite. We came early (before 6 p.m.) and were soon joined at the Wagon Wheel by a large contingent of residents who were known by name by the staff. They filled nearly every table. The food was good and the staff was wonderful. Everyone helped serve everybody. Our fries and rolls were cooked a tad long but were fine. We look forward to returning here again!

Food is great. The chicken strips are my favorite. Big portions help me feel like I got my moneys worth. The burgers are great as well. Breakfast is awesome.

Compared to all other restaurants the Wagon Wheel has great food and atmosphere! My only complaint is the bacon portion is smaller than all the other restaurants I visit for breakfast!

This place is really great! It’s has a lot of Ozark charm, the food is delicious (our favorite is the pancakes and biscuits and gravy) but it’s less crowded than a lot of the tourist places in Branson. It’s one of our favorite spots when we visit! The drive from Branson to the restaurant is also really beautiful!

Just moved to the area and wanted to check out the local diners. The diner I was headed to was closed down, and I happen to pass by the wagon wheel where I stopped for breakfast and it was amazing. Had the chicken fried steak with a biscuit and gravy. You can tell it was homemade gravy and not from a package. The hashbrowns actually had flavor. My friend had an omelette and it was wonderful as well. If you’re passing through stop on in stop.
