I always get excellent food and service at the Wagon Wheel. The owner Lindsay is very approachable and helpful as well as she employs staff that are the same. Their menu is diverse, and their specials are always amazing! Best things on their menu are the cheese curds, and Chicken wings as the appetizers the bacon cheeseburger is beyond amazing as the burger is freshly pressed, not frozen, and their biscuits and gravy never fails.

If you’re looking for average food and horrible customer service, feel free to go. The last two times I have gone, the waitress on hand, who I believe may be the owner, treated me and my family terribly. This last time, we had gone in to get a bite to eat after dealing with a family death. There was no one else in the restaurant when we sat down, yet she rushed our order and was very rude. Then, when she brought my side salad over, I had been talking to a family member about after life steps we needed to take. She came over and rather than try to get my attention nicely, she grabbed me by the shoulder and very rudely said ‘mam.’ To add on, she was yelling at the young cook in the back loud enough for us to hear, and had another lady waiting at the counter for almost ten minutes when she could very clearly see her around the corner. For a 120 dollar bill, the food was just okay and the customer service left me feeling worse than I already was when I went in. We have faithfully gone to the Wagon Wheel for years, but we have decided we will no longer be patronizing this particular establishment.

I often get food to go there on my way to work. Always good food at actually cheaper than fast food price.. but I must say , last night I got an order to go for 2 burgers and fries and salads, and those two burgers were huge and excellent!! Thank you for an awesome meal at the end of a long day at work. Always friendly staff and the desserts at the end were great…I will continue to get my meals at the top of the hill..!

Very rustic vintage place but love how it’s not over crowded or busy and two different rooms to sit it. Food is delicious. Parking plenty. Service is great and everyone here is just so friendly. I come here with a friend or my husband and or just alone and enjoy myself.

I was very surprised with how good my burger was. I was in town visiting family and was wanting to try something local. We ended up here and I got my burger fix in.
We also had the ranch cheese curds and taco daily special.
I got the double bacon burger with a side of tots. Burger was seasoned well and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Basic toppings of lettuce tomato and onion, but added it the perfect amount. Juices dripping down my arms. I would have to give the burger an A+. Tots were cooked perfectly, but a bit over seasoned for my taste. The cheese curds were also a little salty, but tasted very good.
Being from Southern CA, I won’t say anything about the tacos. My dad seemed to enjoy them, but I can’t comment on them since I am so spoiled living so close to Mexico and have taco places on nearly every city block.
Would I come back? Most definitely. This place seems like a local dive, but staff was extremely friendly and hospitable to this out of towner. Made me feel like I was in my local dive at home.
