What a cute place! My friend took me here because she really wanted to try the soft serve ice cream in the fish waffle. We got the ube swirl. So yummy! I also got a bacon & cheddar fish waffle. The girls working here were super sweet & allowed us to sample the ice cream flavors before buying. Prices are about average, but you can’t put a price on the happiness that comes with ice cream. Would definitely come back to try more!

We stopped by last night for the special Scream Ice Cream. It was amazing and the staff was was so friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of space downstairs to sit and enjoy. I definitely recommend checking them out.

They were absolutely delicious! We tried the Nutella filled one and the custard cream with vanilla ice cream, and I highly recommend them! We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

We have been to this location many times. Unfortunately, after repeated bad experiences I felt the need to leave a review. We have been to this location multiple times around 7:30pm-8pm. When we arrived the employees told us that they had already cleaned up and were “done for the night”. The posted hours are 9pm. We have begun to make it a habit to come earlier in the afternoon to avoid this issue since we drive nearly 40 minutes to get there. After seeing the Valentine’s Day special strawberry taiyaki sando their Instagram page we decided to take our son and daughter to get this special menu item. When we arrived around 1pm she told us that they were still trying to find time to prep the item for them day. Again, it was 1pm. The special advertised Valentine’s Day treat had not even been prepped for the day. I told her it was okay and we would be okay with waiting. She started by saying it would take 30 minutes to cut up some strawberries and whip some heavy cream and sugar together…still fine. We’ll wait. Seeming annoyed by my patience, she added another 30 minutes “or maybe even longer”. Overhearing the conversation with the girl working the cash register, the girl making the taiyaki comes over stressing how long it will take and we can come back tonight if we want. They close at 9pm. I told them we would not be coming back this direction. We live quite a distance away and are okay with waiting. They both seemed extremely annoyed and finally let me order and pay for it. It has now been over an hour. There is not a single person inside ordering right now. All three taiyaki machines are empty. Still no sando. Pretty sure they’re making a point that I inconvenienced them at this point. Needless to say, we will not be returning. They have lost a loyal customer over their poor planning and customer service.

This place is neat. The Sakura soft serve was very tasty. The pastries are made to order, which is a plus. They sell cute trinkets as well. What bugged me the most was that upon checkout, they have a default 30% tip. WHAT?! I modified, but hate the pressure as they stare at you altering on the machine.

Tasty Taiyaki !
Me and my wife visited Wafu while at East End Market while visiting Orlando yesterday. We ordered an Anko and a Matcha filled and it was our first time ever trying a Taiyaki.
We were not disappointed the fillings in each waffle tasted great! Not overly sweet and the waffle itself was light and fluffy.
The prices were very reasonable each Taiyaki was ~$5 a piece. You could also get it with ice cream on top almost like an ice cream cone for a few more dollars.
The staff inside were very nice and friendly. We got our waffles and sat outside as the store was tiny.
If you want to try Taiyaki and want an easy tasty experience check out Wafu in Orlando!
Thank you for the food!

So happy I found this place!! I am a huge fan of Japanese food and treats, and jumped at the chance to get some taiyaki. I got the set of 3, custard, anko, and ube (which was seasonal). They were all delicious. Definitely making this a regular stop whenever I visit Orlando.

Pretty cool to take the kids or a date for a snack. Selection of flavored waffles in a cool fish shape. Only $5 unless you want a ice creme version. There is a line but worth the wait. Tried bacon and cheese, and a matcha which sounds weird but was delicious.
