Walking through the front door feels like walking through a time machine traveling to a diner in the 70’s. The atmosphere, the layout and aesthetic give off that vibe. Watching in real time as the kitchen crew prepares your food with all the commotion in a loud atmosphere give a nostalgic feeling. There is not a waffle house where I live in south Texas but each time I travel to an area where there is one, I must stop and this place met all my expectations. I must say it is clean and the staff are gracious. Alex was our server and he was incredible to us.

came in with my family everything seemed good at first until we met our server philip. He constantly checked on us to the point we couldn’t even hold a conversation. He also seemed to be invading the personal space of his coworkers on the floor to make it 10x worse. Our food was great, atmosphere was great our server was just a freak AND off putting vibes. Definitely not good energy to be a server that’s for sure.

I asked for 4 eggs scrambled with cheese, which is usually 4 eggs and 4 slices of cheese. What I got looked like 2 eggs with 4 slices of cheese. The eggs were floating in a sea of cheese, which was inedible. The service and atmosphere were great, but other Waffle Houses I’ve been to do the 4 eggs scrambled with cheese a bit better.

So Waffle House is a strange place, a super reliable place to get a decent meal pretty quickly. They are pretty small inside with about 5-6 tables and a bar that sits 10-15 people. They still take orders on paper and you pay at the register. They are open 24/7 365 days a year, in fact FEMA has an unofficial disaster scale based on Waffle House’s operational state. If the Waffle House’s in the area are fully open then the disaster isn’t that bad, if they are closed then it’s apocalyptic. The waffles are good, better be at a place called Waffle House. The bowls are big and definitely filling. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Definitely come by if you want some Good Food Fast.

Never been to a waffle house but heard so many good things about this place. Anywhere from late night drunken meals or enjoying a early morning breakfast, this places has satisfied both. The price was on the lower spectrum compared to other breakfast locations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a decent amount. The workers were very friendly and it was great to see everyone happy and having fun while prepping the food. My only issue is that the location is very small so, when it’s packed you will be waiting around (unknown amount of time) watching everyone else eat or people who are just killing time at a table.

This is my first time here and I love it. The cook Joe is real cool and the waitress bunny is real nice. Just the environment here is dope. They took my order and took their time doing so.. I have not been to the Waffle house in over 25 years.And when I came in , it’s the same home.nGrown love. It’s a good place to have fun too.Excellent family atmosphere , and even if you’re going through college , everybody , all mixed in. I never regret tipping here.
