I had never been to a Waffle House before, so my daughter and I decided to give it a try. It was definitely an interesting experience. I honestly expected to see more waffle dishes on the menu, but the prices were very reasonable, which was a plus.
We went around 8:15 p.m. and noticed that the hard-boiled eggs were still out even though the sign said they should have been disposed of at 2, which was concerning. There was also water all over the floor, and I’m not sure where it was coming from.
I did order a waffle—it was very thin. On the bright side, the cheese grits were delicious. Our waiter, Aaron, was really nice and friendly, which helped the experience.
Overall, the food was okay, the price was right, and it pretty much lived up to what I expected a Waffle House to be. Interesting experience, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit again.

The Waffle House hits the spot everytime time I’m getting home from work or on my way to college. The staff is truly amazing at all times of the day…I recommend everyone on their way out of town or coming into town should first make a stop at the best waffle house on the north side!!

We really enjoyed our visit. Like always, I start off by asking how does the gravy look and would the server eat it. Lol They said they would look. When they did it wasn’t good and very old. So the cook said he would make a new batch. I was able to order my food the way I like it and enjoyed it very much.

If I could have given it 0 stars that would have made more sense. We waited like 20+ minutes just for someone to bring us a menu. The waitress took our order, forgot our drinks, went in the back and never came back out. We stood at the counter like 5 minutes waiting to pay while the other staff just carried on. Finally one of them came and said the waitress would be out to settle the bill. After waiting even longer, surprise! She never came out. Another staff member settled the bill and didn’t remove the charges for the drinks. We sat there and witnessed them make other customers wait for eternity telling them they were cleaning the grill, but nothing was being cleaned. Food was mid. Service was HORRIBLE.

We weren’t dressed for anything fancy, and I was hungry… and Waffle House was close by, so we decided to swing by this Waffle House. We were the only customers there at 6:30 in the evening so I was a little worried. There was no reason to worry. It had to be one of the cleanest Waffle Houses I’ve ever visited. Veronica greeted us warmly and gave us the best service throughout our meal. The Chef made my eggs and bacon to perfection and my husband and nephew enjoyed their meals too. What a great experience!

Amazing customer service! I was pleased with the wait time. When we walked in, we were greeted by multiple voices. It was refreshing and the store was clean. As a F&B supervisor for over 17 years, I can say if this was my staff I would be proud. Keep up the good work! We will be back just for the customer service.
