We went to the Waffle house off of Cartwright and Pioneer. It was around 10:30am and they were busy. We ended up sitting at the counter (which was okay) however we were right where you pay and where they handle to go orders as well. So needless to say what little space there was , was being shared by food being brought over and packed up for people to head out. That also made our dinning experience very loud. Our waitress DeeDee was great. My husband got his breakfast before I got mine ( he ordered a hash brown, sausage cheese egg bowl) I had a pecan waffle and crispy bacon. I got the waffle 1st then several min. later the bacon. Again not sure if the line was backed up, or what but I did notice people who came after us got served before us ( well partially as my husband already had his). Overall I’d go back just opt to sit somewhere else. Ask for DeeDee if she’s not just working the counter!

We enter the restaurant and they are very nice everyone speaks. We are seated and immediately Dejah ( our waitress) looks like she doesn’t want to be there. She got our order wrong, forgot our waffles that we ordered which caused us to be there a lot longer than expected. She then says “ can y’all pay y’all’s bill so I can go?”. We wouldn’t have even been there that long had she put our order in correctly. I will never come to this location again. Unacceptable, especially when I am spending my hard earned money.

2 orders of over medium eggs (4 eggs) was charged over 16 dollars. They were cooked perfectly but not 16 dollars worth. I questioned but still bought because I wanted eggs. Waitress charged me for (2) egg breakfast. Chef saved it with offering me a waffle. I didn’t want a refund but the offer of a waffle by chef made me feel better. I always come to this location just a different staff this time I guess

My son and I came in for brunch. The restaurant was busy, but there were two open tables and seats at the counter. Unfortunately, both tables were dirty, and we were not greeted at all when we walked in.
We waited about 5–10 minutes while employees focused on cleaning and side work, but no one acknowledged us. Eventually, a server asked if we were dining in. I pointed out the dirty table, but no one cleaned it. We finally sat down ourselves and waited again before someone came to wipe it off.
Our waitress was very kind, soft spoken, and seemed new. She was polite and apologetic the entire time. We ordered a patty melt, a waffle, and bacon. During shift change, the cook only heard part of the order, so my son’s food was missed. Our waitress apologized multiple times, and I could tell she felt bad even though it wasn’t her fault.
When the bacon was finally put on the grill, it was left unattended as the cook’s shift ended. My food sat getting cold while we waited for my son’s meal. Another cook eventually stepped in and finished it.
The food itself was good, as usual for Waffle House. No complaints there. However, the coffee was very bad. It tasted watered down, like old grounds were reused. I couldn’t finish it, and we ended up leaving to get coffee elsewhere.
The biggest issue was the lack of customer service. Employees did not greet customers and were noticeably rude to some guests. One to-go customer was spoken to harshly. The contrast was obvious when an employee named Gabrielle came in for her shift. Everyone greeted her warmly, and she brought positive energy immediately. That’s the kind of attitude customers should experience too.
Overall, great food but very poor service and communication. The staff could learn a lot from Gabrielle’s energy and friendliness.

Went into this location around 2:30AM place was dead we were a party of 5. They wanted us to split up our 5th person to sit alone just in case they got a “rush” at 2:30am! We asked to sit at the bar area and was denied even though we were paying with 3 separate tickets. We were the rush at that time! Place was DEAD! They had attitudes. Didn’t want our business. And they missed out on business and then a tip. We went to the location on belt line and was BUSY! Vibes were so better they had music going and guess what?! They sat us 5 at the bar area!! Will never forget back to this location!

I haven’t been here in a while, but it is actually a lot better than what I remember. The service was good, our order came out quick and the portions were more than enough. They just need to improve on their housekeeping. The prices are great!
Okay, we went back for breakfast again. The prices and food are good, but I won’t be back again. The staff really needs to do a better job of keeping this restaurant clean instead of spending so much time on their cellphones.
They really need to clean up this restaurant. Sticky bottles , sticky counters , and dirty floors. I hate to see what it looks like behind the counter. Close it for a day to just clean. Mesquite code enforcement needs to write them up!!!

Went to this location today 2/26, If I could give this location negative stars I would we, asked if we needed to seat ourselves when we walked in and the three black girls that were at the front counter just stood there and looked at us so we sat ourselves and when we did that the girl that was waiting tables in the area decided to avoid our table, by this time we decided to order takeout. Customer Service sucks at this location and the restaurant staff has no coif and is extremely rude I’m not sure how this location is still open with the waitress staff being the way they are. The cooks were the only ones handling business.

My husband and I visit this restaurant regularly. I am hoping that yesterday was just a mishap however I ordered the cheese and grits whistling bacon . I was asked if you want cheese on your grits and eggs I replied yes. I also as for my scrambled eggs to be soft with cheese and hint repeating cheese again.
My husband on the All-American With no toast, coffee and iced tea there was a cubes of ice in there. However since the tea itself was warm I assumed that it was just made and the Ice melted when they pour the tea. Our food arrives my eggs are scrambled hard with no cheese cheese in the grits. My husband’s eggs to be over medium. It was hard. Also he did not receive his waffle remind me to hostess about his waffle. I told my husband maybe the cook is new. He asked the hostess for the waffles again. My husband said I don’t never mind as she set the burnt waffle on the table. Wasn’t even a full waffle.

Read it to the end. You will love this waffle House. The manager is cool as hell. I only been going there for 3 days and they already know exactly what my orders are. They know exactly what to put together. They know exactly how to make sure my food is all good and fresh. Keep up the good work
