Best spot to go. Love me my Wafflehouse, even if it’s made with industrial cooking oil. The fake butter and some of the cooking oil does occasionally upset the ole tummy, but, frankly, it’s an easy fix. Waffle House corporate should just cook with ghee, butter, lard, or something that’s real, rather than these hydrogenated oils that God certainly didn’t want us eating.
Anyway, love this place. There’s a jukebox! If I were to start a religion (I wouldn’t), I’d make Wafflehouses our churches. Why? 1. Open always 2. Jukebox 3. Tasty vittles 4. Best people in the world work here.

Tiana and Kennedy are the best, my friend and I were very relieved to see them preparing our food.

We were greeted upon walking in, food was served relatively quick. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. I would even go as far as to say it beats some of the over-glorified breakfast place that is half a mile down the street with a long wait and incompetent front desk!

First off I am a huge fan of Waffle House and I frequent them a lot. I stopped in at the Thompson location and my experience was awful. Tables were dirty and stacked with dishes. Server was more interested in talking to man at the bar than taking my order and doing her job. The cook was slow and very disengaged. It was not busy. Just me, the gentleman at bar, and one other table. I ordered a pastry melt and it had no grilled onions. Needless to say I will not be back to this location. I will drive across town to the one on Sunset. Poor management at this location.

I loved it. The food was good, the service was nice, and it was very chill. If you haven’t tried Waffle House yet, you should!

Can’t go wrong with a pecan waffle & bacon. Breakfast & lunch 24 hours. The service was particularly good the night I was there.

Mia, she just loves waffle house, she ordered a waffle, I’ll have to look at the picture to see. We had a good time nd our waitress was very attentive. Our cook did a fine job cooking our goodies. Thank you chef for an amazing meal. She was happy so I was happy. The atmosphere was great, not a lot of people but we did go when it wasn’t a high volume time. It was priced affordable. The house was clean, smelled of good food. Bathrooms were also clean. We could watch the traffic on 71 business. Windows were clean! Sunny inside . We had a great time, for a great price.

I was in the area for a doctor’s appointment and decided to get something to eat afterwards. I didn’t want to go too far off of my path. Waffle House was just on the next block. I haven’t been to one 30 odd years, so it was a nostalgic choice. It was exactly as I remember it. It’s not glamorous but definitely worth what you pay for. I chose to have the waffles and bacon. My server was prompt and friendly. My food arrived piping hot and exactly as I had ordered.

I just called to place a takeout order for my family after looking at the Christmas lights downtown. The man who answered said the restaurant was full and that I could only order if I came into the restaurant. Okay. Great. So we drive over there to order. I am shocked to see FIVE PATRONS in the restaurant. I call back. Once again, the person (Coral) says they are full. I say no you aren’t. I’m in the parking lot. SHE HANGS UP ON ME! I call back and the man answers this time. Says they are full. I call him on his lie, tell him I’m in the parking lot and he starts to argue. Seriously?! I am seriously angry. I will be calling corporate tomorrow. This was at around 6:45 on a Thursday evening.
