Sitting at the dine-in counter, halfway through my meal… and one of the servers opens a cooler to get something out. Roaches. Roaches scurrying EVERYWHERE. I immediately stopped eating, and requested a refund. When asked why, I pointed out the roaches. Was refused, and after giving them a decent-sized piece of my mind… had the LRPD called on me. I have Tried going to this waffle house 2 times. both times staff has the doors locked and says they’re cleaning when they’re not. they’re sitting around and Hobnobbing with each other. this is the only waffle house I’ve ever had issues with . The food was horrible!!! My pecan waffle was cooked very hard and my hash brown bowl were overcooked with very little eggs. This is the 2nd time that I’ve come to this Waffle House and the food was not good. I’m not sure if they are under new management but if so that would explain why but if not they need to hire new cooks. I hope the food gets better but I will not be returning.
