Passing through and this Waffle House was quite the treat! Cooked my breakfast to perfection. Very clean inside and super friendly staff. Plus, they were decorated for Valentines Day which was so fun. If I’m in the area again I’ll be stopping back in!

Business was a bit haywire. There was only one cashier and one cook, in which they were quite busy. PLEASE GET THEM SOME HELP. The food was alright. I had to ask for fresh cinnamon raisin toast since the toast that they tried to give me was sitting in the toaster for several minutes after popping up. Behind the counter needed some serious cleaning. Maybe it will be best to hire someone to be a janitor.

My friend and I just walked out of this trap. The table was sticky. I wiped it down myself. The menus were disgusting. The nasty waitress sneezed as she grabbed the forks to bring to the table. Then she sneezed as she sat the forks down. My companion and I walked out, concluding not to return and to tip the Louisiana board of health. This establishment should be shut down.

Just to mention: We went here once a few months ago and I ordered an omelet. Would you believe, they did not know how to scramble eggs for an omelet without a special device to do it for them – that’s what the server told us. True story.

We had to sit at a dirty table … we were not greeted. Didn’t get menus. He walked up “Said you know what you want”? Floor filthy. They was busy eating behind the bar. We cleaned our place off. Even another man next to us didn’t get his place wiped off. I seen the worker look at it and walk off. Customer then requested it to be cleaned. Do better on customer service.. and cleanliness. Food was good!!

I was shocked at how much I enjoyed myself. I’d not been to a Waffle House in twenty years. The food was actually quite good, and because I’m a senior citizen, the price was great. The server did a great job and had a great personality. We’ve decided to go once a month from here on out!

0 stars!!! I placed a to-go order two hours ago, and I’m just sitting down to enjoy my food. My grits were left off my order, I immediately called to alert someone that I would pick my grits up at a later date. After 4 calls, no one answered. I drove all the way back up there and asked for a refund, because I didn’t want to drive all the way back to my office with hot grits, and the rest of my food cold. The night shift manager, who appeared to be under the influence of something, says they can’t refund me, I would have to be inconvenienced once more, by waiting until the morning manager came in. I stated that was fine and to print my receipt. I also stated that I made several phone calls to the store prior to coming, which again is taking from me, by using more gas. She stated they didn’t receive a call and walked to the back. I was under the impression she was going to check the phone and come back to finish our conversation. The worker who’d originally took my order became snappy, raising her voice at me and I assertively told her not to speak me to in that tone and to get her manager. The manager returns and proceeds to call SPD on me. I’m assuming because I’m a Black woman, they felt threatened because I advocated for me being inconvenienced. I’m not surprised at their behavior, they are employees at Waffle House, with known unprofessionalism .However, Black women and men be aware of this. I remained on premises and waited for SPD. The officers were very professional and understanding, however, this could have turned out bad for me, which is what that manager wanted.

Absolutely horrible. They should be ashamed of the slop they serve me and my family this morning. Hash browns burnt, steak ice cold in the middle and has a funny taste. I will be throwing it to my dogs if they will eat it. Just a waste of money. Shame on whoever fixed our food. They need to be fired IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!! Hope I don’t get sick off the little bit of food I ate….This was my first and last time eating Waffle House.

Maybe a off day for them this morning. I called for pickup, 15 minutes later, I walked and saw what I believed was my food waiting for me on the counter. I tried to get someone’s attention that I was there for my food. I literally waited for two people, who were walk in orders to get their food before me. One of the customer’s asked for their drinks and was told ” I’m doing the best I can”, so I took it as they were overwhelmed. I’m an understanding person, so I rushed to the counter before the person that checked out the second person I had to wait for to get my food. I paid and left to surprise my wife with a late breakfast. I was so disappointed. What was usually good food, was burned and short some hash browns, I ordered a “large” order for my wife and I, (2 orders). Also, both of us had “issues” after we ate little later.

The great thing about Waffle House is that the food preparation methods mostly ensure you get the same meal anywhere, anytime, and always hot! The service and atmosphere depends on the people (both employees and customers) which all rotate in and out so many times of day that you never know what to expect. Think of it as an adventure and you’ll never be disappointed.
