On Tuesday, July 29th, approximately at 10:30 AM, my friend and I experienced an exceptionally poor customer service encounter. The server who took our order exhibited an unprofessional demeanor towards us and our friend. Immediately after placing our order, we discovered that three items were missing. The server responded with an attitude, arguing with us about the error. Furthermore, the cook was verbally abusing the waitress. We were required to pay at 14:50, but the toast that accompanies their all-star meal was still missing.

Food was ok. Well some of it. Grits were either too runny and clumpy or dry and cold. Grilled chicken was a hit or miss. Some was good all the way, others were raw. Waffles… ok. The grill that they made the waffles on was disgusting. Seriously needs to be cleaned. Waitress had a bit of an attitude when we changed our order. Her appearance needed to be better. Apron folded down and very nasty. This was my first time here and it will be my LAST!!! Another, should have followed my first mind and went to ihop!

I visited this place for the first time on 10/28/25 bad place bad attitude, the first time I really felt an establishment conduct themselves this way towards a guest . They made sure I wasn’t welcome to eat here even refused to prepare the food as i selected, told me in a rude way I couldn’t get eggs instead off hash browns, I’d rather leave then give my money to people like this.

I recently visited this Waffle House.
Service was slow, but friendly. Food was adequate. However, I could not get comfortable no matter where I sat. I’ve never seen a business run the AC when it’s in the 60’s outside. It was so cold inside you couldn’t even enjoy your food. My coffee went cold so fast. I’m convinced the AC is set low to move customers out faster and it worked. Imagine being all bundled up to keep warm INSIDE while trying to eat your food. Terrible bruh.

It’s like a greasy spoon kinda diner and I mean that in a very complimentary type of way. I mean, it truly is just like stepping back in time as you enter the establishment. The food was prepared and cooked fresh for us upon our order. The taste was great! The waitress was highly friendly but not over friendly and the cook was very nice as well. I’ll be returning!

Walked in and waited at least 20 minutes and never even got spoken to. The waitress cleaned off the chair next to me and didn’t even acknowledge me. 10 minutes after I was there a couple sat down next to me. She instantly gets them and gets their drinks and orders. Still nothing to me. When I finally left I noticed the ladies who walked in in front of me already had their food. First and last time ever visiting that location.

If you’re in the area of Avondale,La the Waffle House store # 1777 & want a great place to eat and great customer service. The 3rd shift crew Debbie,Justin & Maya is where it’s at!! It was so refreshing to get off a long night of work and stop in here. They went above & beyond friendly, great service!! Hard to find this kind of service anymore and this crew has it!! I enjoyed the time waiting on my food it was fast prompt service with kindness!! My only regret is I didn’t tip them enough I gave what I had left & wish it was more they deserved it! If you see this Thank you it was a pleasure meeting y’all today!!
