I had the bacon, egg, and cheese hash brown bowl and a classic waffle. Prices are reasonable. The bowl was good but not astounding. The waffle was delicious. Our server, Jared, did a great job taking care of us and was friendly. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

Came in quietly, sat down, and immediately realized I had entered someone else’s unfolding life event. Before I could even look at the menu, the waitress called me “baby” and slid a coffee in front of me like it was court ordered. The coffee tasted like it had been threatening people since 4 a.m. I accepted my fate. I ordered waffles and hash browns. The cook prepared them with the focused anger of a man who’s already seen three things today and it’s still early. When the plate hit the table, it was perfect golden waffle, hash browns scattered and smothered, possibly also emotionally covered. To my left, a couple argued about rent, loyalty, and who actually owned the dog. To my right, someone was explaining their probation situation to a stranger who didn’t ask but was listening very politely anyway. At one point, the entire place went quiet because a man announced, “I’m not mad I’m just disappointed,” and even the grill seemed to pause.
Food was excellent. Service was fast. No one flinched. Not even when glass broke.
I finished my meal, paid, and left without making eye contact, because that felt safer.
Highly recommend.
Four stars…lost one because I accidentally learned too much about several people.

NICE LOCATION Service was good, food was tasty, hot & made to order (egg whites were perfect)… and the Motown music was an added bonus. All the staff was nice AND the bathroom was clean! Always a GO-TO when I’m in town visiting family.

This food was so horrible, apparently they only have take out passed 9pm. Which should of been a red flag. This food is horrible and even fully cooked! My hash browns are still cold not even cooked all the way through my toast is soggy and gross the chicken is not even fully cooked through. It was clearly rushed and it disgusting and a waste of money!

I’m normally a big fan of Waffle House — good food, fun atmosphere, and usually great service. Unfortunately, the Lima, Ohio location has been disappointing for quite some time.
They have taped signs saying Fridays and Saturdays from 9 PM to 6 AM are “to-go only,” which I can understand if it’s a security or staffing issue. But I showed up on a Tuesday at 5:50 AM and was told it was still to-go only. Then again today, a Saturday at 6:15 AM, I was told dine-in wasn’t available until 7 AM, even though the sign clearly says 6 AM. When I pointed it out, the staff member just shook her head with an attitude.
Policies are one thing, but inconsistent rules and dismissive customer service make for a bad experience. I love Waffle House, but this location needs better consistency and professionalism before I can recommend it.

The food is Waffle House food. If you’ve had it before, you know exactly what to expect. It’s cozy getting what you are familiar with sometimes.
The service here is great! The server knew what she was doing. The cooks were entertaining as well. Can’t beat Dinner and a Show for this price!
The restaurant was clean as well as the restrooms.

Made Special drive to Waffle House and they’re take out only, what Waffle House doesn’t allow dine plus take out charges 20 percent fee on top of regular price. lol ordered biscuits and gravy and there’s no gravy lmao utter waste of time and incompetence at its finest
