We stopped in for a classic Waffle House meal and it hit the spot. The pecan waffle was warm, lightly crispy, and perfectly sweet, paired with hot coffee — simple and comforting. The hash browns were golden, crispy on the outside and soft inside, just the way they should be.The staff were so friendly.

We just stopped here on our travels from Canada and We had the best service from the sweetest Miss named Novella. Her manager was there as well and he was very nice. It made us feel like we were at home. These guys definitely deserve an award for their exceptional service. We hope to see you again soon. Thanks for taking care of us. I’m not sure what the one worker who was starting shift! But congratulations hope it’s boy!

The first thing seen walking in is a crap ton of plugs plugged into an outlet. Can we say fire hazard? The place is pretty clean otherwise. The hash browns and the Texas patty melt is delicious. But apparently the staff ignored some things. I told them that I wanted the same drinks as my boyfriend, coffee, creamer, and water. I added a cup of milk. What did I get? Coffee and milk, no ice water.

Ive been here years ago and had a terrible experience. Today was one of the best experiences I’ve had at any waffle house. My over-medium eggs were closer to over-easy, but I am a weirdly picky eater. With that said, all the other food was great. The people were friendly. I was genuinely surprised at how good the food and service was.

I was eating in this waffle House in Monroe, Ohio, Saturday February 21st. 2026. I walked in. There was one couple eating in the corner already with their meal. There was one guy at the counter done with his meal and there was a waitress and she was talking to this man and they were on their phones back and forth about something. The guy cooking was in and out of the kitchen. I sat down. The tables were all dirty that I looked at before I did. But before that the waitress said I’ll be with you in a minute and she was looking at her phone. Talking to that guy. Took about 2 minutes and then here she comes. I asked her to clean the table she did. She seemed okay at that point. Took my order and I specifically told her at that time I went over easy eggs. Please make sure they’re over easy. I got my order in and I didn’t see the cook anywhere and I didn’t see him again for another 15 minutes. In the meantime, nobody was cooking my food. Another couple walked in about 10 minutes from the time I did that was all that was in there. All this time went by and still nobody started my order. Like I said there was nobody else in there eating but one couple already had their food. The one guy sitting at the counter left and then like I said 10 minutes later somebody came in and sat in another Booth. At that time I asked the waitress if my food was on the grill already cuz I was going to leave if it wasn’t and she said yes it was it’ll be there in a little bit. She lied. He came back in finally and started cooking my food. I heard the order go in. Anyway. It cost me $14 to eat this meal. When I drank water the over easy eggs were over medium the the smothered covered and lightly peppered hash browns were just. Everything was light. Hardly nothing. Very little cheese. And then to top it all off it took me 30 minutes to get my food with one customer and his wife sitting there at a table, already having their food. I will never go back. Ever!

I will start by saying that the server was good, no complaints about her. Food was okay. Now for the bad. There is insane amount of cross contamination going on. Cook while friendly…has no food safety standards what so ever. He was touching raw chicken and steak then touching everything…then if that wasn’t bad enough he was touching his phone with the same pair of meat juiced gloves. When done with his phone he would go back to handling more food. If I would have seen this before eating we wouldn’t have. Tons of sewer flies in the bathroom as well, also seen at our table. This locations goal is to make people sick from what it seems. Will NOT be back. This was on 10/13/25 around 6pm.

This is one of the best locations around. We come to this one when eating in, but yesterday I did a carry out for the first time and they remembered me today along with my complete order. Jamie had exceptional customer service, and the entire staff was up beat and friendly. You don’t get customer service like this much anymore

I stopped here with my two oldest. We ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious and affordable. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d be sure to stop by.
