I just wanted to offer some serious compliments to this waffle House staff today! First, our waitress, Brenda was very kind and attentive. Second, I just want to complement the overall ambience and workflow of this restaurant. We have visited other Waffle House restaurants in the Columbus area and they’re all great; however, I feel like this one really gives you the true Waffle House experience: They are yelling orders, they are prepping for the next shift and it just was awesome to see how well they worked as a team. We had the honor of sitting at a booth near the coffee and tea area, and the manager on shift was training a new chef. Her patience, explanations, and support to this new associate was something that I wish all managers could possess. In the 5 to 10 minutes that we got to see her lead her team in that manner, I was really pleased! I did not get her name, though. The last thing that made this particular visit so great was that the chef, JJ, came over to see how our food was. Let me tell Let me tell you: the chicken breast is unreal. It is so juicy and flavored in seasoned to perfection. I know Waffle House specializes in breakfast meats, but this chicken is an awesome addition! This restaurant nailed it. Overall, we have a few Waffle House locations to pick from near our house, but whenever we want Waffle House again, we will go out of our way to go to this location!

My son and I stopped in to order some dinner and, besides the 2 workers, we were the only ones there. I ordered a meal with over easy eggs and they were over hard. Our bacon was a tad bit overcooked. I could easily overlook these things, but the service from the waitress was horrible. She seems nice enough but she was young so maybe she doesn’t understand. She spoke very quietly so maybe she’s shy, which I am as well so this too I could overlook. But not once during our meal did she ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything, not once. And the cook didn’t say a word to us. I realize it’s not his job to talk to the customers so that I could overlook as well. But all of this combined and when the waitress was done serving us she just sat down. Maybe she was on break? I don’t know. But a horrible overall experience

Marcus really took care of us durijg lunch when it was empty, and I can say that he made the best Texas cheesesteak melt with extra crispy hashbrowns I’ve ever had from a waffle house!
Usually, its burnt anywhere else, but Marcus did his thing on that grill and as he stated, “he would always make it the way he would for himself to enjoy”, and that makes him a great cook! Huge shout out to him! Sit at the counter if he’s there. He’s also a funny guy!

We have eaten here twice before in the past month and everything was fine. Today (12/10/25) was very different. It started by having to ask our waitress twice for coffee, then she never came back to our table after that. She’s in the wrong occupation is she gets upset when customers have to ask repeatedly for things. BTW, we were very polite so it’s not like she was dealing with rude customers.
My partner and I ordered exactly the same food we always do. 80% of it was cooked wrong the first try. 50% was cooked wrong (again) the second try, and it took 3 tries for them to make me toast with no butter. Some of our food came 20 minutes after the first round, some food sat behind the counter for quite a while before someone decided to bring it out. By that time it was cold. Some food never came at all, but by this time we’d given up. The staff acted like this was OUR fault, then they blamed it on “the truck was here earlier.” The place was maybe half full, which is slow for a WH. And they were not understaffed. Thankfully, one server (Dathan), did their best to make things as good as possible, and we appreciated that. They offered to discount our food, I said “no, we don’t want free food, we just want what we ordered.” We also tipped very well in spite of the poor experience. Waffle House Corporate, if you read this, you should really take a closer look at operations here. There was no excuse for this. Just people being lazy and not listening/caring. We will NEVER go back here. Good luck.

Nea was our waitress, she was great! So sweet and very good about checking in to make sure we didn’t need anything. Marcus was the cook, very cool dude, great cook! These two knew how to run the waffle house! Probably the cleanest waffle house we’ve been to also! Wish we were local because this would be our pick!

We moved somewhere where the are no Waffle Houses. The food is simple and comforting. The individuals who work at Waffle House are always so enjoyable. It was very clean. They were very accommodating to my specific dietary needs. Going to Waffle House is kind of like going back home after a long time away.

We were in yesterday and my sandwich was so salty I couldn’t eat it. The hash browns were fine. My friend got pecan waffles and all the pecans was in one spot instead of spread out. We were very disappointed. The people who was cooking was not paying attention to what they were cooking cause they were to busy dancing to the jukebox. I know they were having fun which was fine but they got to pay attention to what they are cooking.
