I don’t usually leave negative reviews but this one is well earned. I came in at 2:30 on a Saturday. Every table was full and many of the seats at the counter were full as well. I came by myself and sat at a counter table. There were about six employees when I walked in milling about and talking with each other, but no one serving customers. Turned out it was a shift change. After the end of the shift change there was one cook and one server for the entire packed restaurant. They did the best that they could. However, it was nearly impossible for two people to keep up with a full crowd. I want to be very clear that the server who was here and the cook that was here did the best that they could do but they were overwhelmed me My complaint about this place is not the quality of food or about any serving in particular, but the lack of planning on the Management part to address the staffing issue. This is not the first time I’ve had this problem at this location. The worst part is the manager left with the leaving shift knowing it was going to be this way. She even made a comment about it on the way out.

Another perfect waffle house breakfast! Service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed sitting at the bar watching the grill work. The place is spotless and the food is exactly what you expect: comfortable and tasty!

Sorry not good with names, Waitress was very accommodating by cleaning the table we wanted and brought fresh ham and bacon that was over cooked.
She had a good conversationalist personality.
Visited at 6pm on Christmas Eve

I am just taking back by the unprofessionalism and rude behaviors I witnessed at this location today. As it is Christmas one would expect to see happy servers who want to take your order. Not servers who are arguing about who’s going to take your order, who act like they wanna be there. I even seen one girl push another. I just wanted to get a nice meal with my family on Christmas. There used to be different kind of sauces on every table and in my visit to Waffle House this time there were no sauces. Upon asking for the sauce they gave me a regular red sauce. Service was slow and I got stomach bug after doing breakfast from here.

It’s the Waffle House and when you crave it, the lyndon lane location is a good one to visit. They are courteous, friendly , considerate and helpful. They keep it very clean and they really do work hard to make it your way.

I’d recommend the patty melt with hash browns smothered and scattered, then add an egg to complete it.

If you’re hankering for something sweet, get a Waffle .

We have lived in Louisville for the past several years and tomorrow we will be moving back to Illinois, which sadly means no more Waffle House… we wanted to eat there as our last meal in town and I accidentally left my phone there! I was frantic, the van and trailer are packed we’re leaving in the morning?! Luckily after a quick search on find my IPhone I saw I left it was Waffle House! The employees there actually plugged my phone in to keep it charged and assured me I had not need to worry they kept it safe. This is why I love Waffle House, it has always been a Waffle Home to me.
