This is a great place to get breakfast. When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by welcoming interaction. This is the best Waffle House staff of any WF I have visited. The sausage hashbrown bowl is my go to and never disappointed.

Place was packed on a Monday at 10:30 in the morning. Crazy busy. Sabrina did a great job. The bald guy cooking was slinging food fast on and off the grill. My food was hot, fresh, and waffle house tasty (come on folks this aint gourmet)!
Went back today. Jan 25th 2025. Place was slammed. They had plenty of employees on duty the line was operating like a well oiled machine. Tables were clean. Guy in a blue hat was keeping all incoming orders organized and communicated to the line quickly. Ms. Lisa was hustling and doing a great job.

After moving away it’s been years since I ate at Petal Waffle house. When I left it was fantastic but now what a joke.
I called in an order to pick up one night the waitress was rude af. So I gave her the benefit of the doubt and tipped her 5 dollars for a to go order. I figured it was just a busy night, I shouldn’t have she was still rude in person. We’ll I get home my bread wasn’t even toasted and my omelet was raw. Slimy and raw. Definitely won’t be back. They need to do some training on the wait staff and cooks.

My father is bedridden and on hospice care and I normally come in here and pay almost $10 for two scrambled eggs with cheese, raisin toast and grits and all he can eat is the two scrambled eggs with cheese I ordered just two scrambled eggs with cheese on the side, almost 6 dollars And then I look over there and it’s like an omelette and he just flips it and it’s like a big Patty and I refuse to take it. He scrambles me an egg with cheese and when he gives it to me, it is like a third of the way full in this little cup and it’s normally overflowing with two scrambled eggs with cheese. I will not come back my daddy ate here four days a week for 10 years and I have been coming once a week for two years getting him food and this is two or three times with the same night Cook that has messed it up and he was rude. I asked him to re-cook it and he still let it sit there and was letting him just throw an omelette again and then he chopped it up. I was very unhappy. I don’t mind paying for what I get but petal ms waffle house is terrible. The ones in the neighboring town of Hattiesburg is much much better.

I’ve been to a Waffle House….. but Petal Waffle House just blew all Waffle Houses out the water. My food was so good! My waffle was fluffy and DELICIOUS!! I mean…. I legit was excited eating it until it’s last bite!
