Waffle House is always a go to when we ate traveling and want a quick hot meal. The food is always good and served right off the grill. The employees are always polite and effortlessly. We also love that they serve breakfast all day and offer such consistently good meals, quickly and at a reasonable price.

Food was good but when we arrived at 6:30am door was locked and they told us to wait five minutes which we didn’t mind. Being that 6:30 is a normal breakfast time the crowd built up pretty fast outside. we were the first people to walk in. We sat at the counter, but for some reason our order got taken last and we ended up waiting 45 minutes for our food.

Upon arriving at this Waffle House located in Vicksburg, Mississippi we noticed what looked to be like an employee/staff meeting being held. They were nice and said take a seat wherever you like. We started to sit down but EVERYTHING was filthy and dirty. The grill, the floors, all of the counter tops, EVERYTHING was filthy so we didn’t order. We told them that we decided to go elsewhere and we left. We do NOT recommend this location due to how dirty everything is and are surprised that they are allowed by the city/county/state to remain open.

The restaurant is very dirty, garbage all over the floor, under the tables. The floor looks like it has not been cleaned in days. The menu is really dirty and sticky.

The reason for the empty plates, is because I ate everything I was served! Grits were great! Everything else was par for the course at a Waffle House! Server was friendly. I know the atmosphere I’m getting going to a Waffle House, and I’m not expecting Michelin star experience. Thanks for the sustenance!

It was horrible!! Not clean at all! Staff was NOT friendly. It was as if our waitress was put out to wait on us. The food was not cooked good. It is not a place I’d ever stop again.

Typical Waffle House. It was close to our hotel so we walked. Wasn’t busy. Staff was friendly and food came in good time. However, this restaurant was filthy. Like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Crumbs and sticky substances all over the tables and chairs.
