Server was extremely nice and running around as fast as she could to get everything done. Food was delicious. Manager was talking down to new employees during training, pointing out mistakes and saying “everyone DONT DO THIS” it was embarrassing and you could tell the employees were uncomfortable.

Just passing through from Iowa, they service and atmosphere were just wonderful. Staff greeted everyone walking in the door, many by name. Food was made fresh and fast. The team working, worked flawlessly together it was actually cool to watch. Our server was Stacey she was amazing. Also working Mya, Kimmy and Artsisan? ( sorry for bad spelling). Would definitely recommend.

My son and I were traveling the day before Thanksgiving and decided to dine in. The restaurant was clean enough and not crowded. We sat at a table in the corner.
For a long time no one came over to our table. My son asked one of the waitresses who was sitting at the bar to take our order. She said that we weren’t sitting in her area. And the other waitress would be over shortly. We waited some more. Our waitress finally took our order and got most of it right. The water she brought us tasted so bad that we sent it back. (That was a first for me). And requested orange juice in the plastic bottles. She asked if we wanted ice. We said no at the same time. We ate what she placed in front of us. Our meals were eatable.
I thought that our experience was bad. The white couple that came in 30 minutes after us had to wait so long that they got up and left.
I am so grateful that this restaurant isn’t close to where I live.

I tell you what, I love me some Waffle House. That’s where I met my now ex-wife Charlene out in the parking lot seven years ago. Something about the smell of cigarette smoke and men’s axe body spray along with her left lazy eye she can’t see squat out of absolutely swooned me. We sat down and shared a plate of that Texas Bacon Egg and Cheese melt plate; it was gone before I even had the chance to tell the waitress thank you and all. A week later, we had our beautiful wedding out in front of the Waffle House with the general manager officiating. Such a nice lady! If you’re looking to have a wedding, Waffle House is the best venue to do so here in Batesville, MS!
Waffle House also has the best entertainment you can’t find anywhere else in Batesville, MS. If you want to be entertained, come at 2am on Monday mornings. It’s like watching UFC but instead of Conor McGregor and Mike Tyson, it’s Conner McDaniel and Mike Tyler from down the road because they just got back from The Pony down in Lowndes County and both figured they’d stop and get an early breakfast before they sleep for two hours and go to work granted they don’t get arrested.

Staff were sitting around and laughing instead of taking care of the customers. Restaurant was very dirty and uncleaned. Staff was very unmotivated.

Servers were ruder than usual at this waffle house. Couldn’t get an order right to save anyone’s life. Give you attitude when they ask for service. As well as ring up the bill wrong and act like your stealing when you are fed up and pay what they say and leave. By far the worst experience at a waffle house and ive experienced 2 fights and a shooting at them.
