The tables were empty but not clean. We waited 35 minutes to get waited on. When our order came 40 minutes latter half of my order was not served. My eggs were not cooked still translucent. I sent them back .Then a group of Teen boys came in are were loud and put Rocky Top on the juke box. The boys sang at the tops of their lungs clapping dancing screaming yeah. I asked the boys in a loud voice where we’re their parents? I said do you have no manners ? Do you know how rude you are being? Disturbing people trying to eat their dinner? Your not at a Football game. They stopped and gave me a dirty look and left. The staff was overwhelmed due to short staff. I never did get my eggs but was charged for them. I got a to go plate. It was the worst meal and experience I have ever had at a waffle house. I know I have eaten there over a hundred times but never ever again. I am sick with Cushings disease . I looked so forward to going all day long. My Husband and I are so upset. I left in tears

I’d never had a burger at Waffle House before. It’s my new WH favorite! Service was wonderful. Amazing cook! Only one cook and two waitresses. Busy the whole time we were there, but the staff kept right up with it. Great team.

I mean, it’s Waffle House. The food is always good, and it’s reliable. If there’s ever a problem, they fix it quickly and without a fuss. Service here is always great. Rarely have to wait for a booth. Restrooms are always clean here.

Okay, so I love Waffle House, but this one in particular is now my favorite.
Two ladies that really make it stand out are Mushroom and Marsha. Mushroom tells amazing jokes like, “I had a horrible dream last night. I dreamt I was in a Muffler Shop and woke up exhausted, LOL!!!” AND Marsha has her customers coffees ready before they even get in the shop. You can tell they both love people and love their jobs.
I haven’t met the rest of the team but they all are nice, work amazingly well together and the atmosphere is perfect.
I highly recommend if you’re driving thru Crossville to stop here, sit at the bar, and have a chat with these awesome people.

I visited this Waffle House a few years ago on a trip from England, UK. The food was great, and sat opposite there was an small old man with a large white beard wearing denim dungarees who looked liked he’d just wondered in from a ranch, probably driving a beat-up 1960s pick-up truck. He probably hung out at a hardware store drinking coffee afterwards, discussing the different types of screw heads. Good times. That’s what I thought of anyway, whilst I sat and ate waffles and bacon.
Unfortunately no scuffles or fisticuffs between patrons broke out on that occasion.
Would eat bacon and waffles with maple syrup there again.

It’s Waffle House, so it’s no frills breakfast, as you’d expect. It’s tiny inside, can be hard to find a seat on busier days. But Everytime I’ve gone the service is great. Staff can be very busy sometimes but you still never end up neglected. They always check to refill coffee multiple times and ask how the food is. Again it’s waffle House so it’s decent breakfast food but don’t expect anything gourmet, it’s diner breakfast food. Which for that category it’s great and the orders have always been correct and well made for me the times I’ve been there.
