Had to go to Arlington to the dentist and have to go back at 2 so we were hungry and all I could eat was soft foods. We drove looking for places to eat and low and behold the waffle house appeared, I was very very pleased with this one. They were busy but was very welcoming when we walked in the door. As ppl were leaving they were Johnny on spot cleaning up the tables. Bathrooms were clean. I have to say they were All wonderful even when they were swamped.

Listen I mean this is something that needs to be fixed pronto. As someone who’s worked in the service industry for a while and never dealt with nor seen behavior like this, y’all need some serious fixes with the jimmy dude who cooks in the Arlington Waffle House. He was incredible rude to the servers and just downright has a filthy mouth. Swearing and yelling the majority of our visit. Not to mention he went to sleep in the corner while there was another table waiting for food to be made. I’ve ate at numerous Waffle House and never once seen this behavior or been treated this way. Waffle House has a bad reputation as for how customers are but I’ve never really thought the way the employees acted was bad but ‘jimmy’ really made his impression to me and my husband. I came to bring attention to his behavior but if I’m being honest with it if you’re gonna have a cook make sure they can actually cook and not burn toast to the extent I’m scraping coals off my chicken melt and somehow managed to leave my bacon raw for the most part. Just ridiculous. Wouldn’t go back.

This was the worst night ever 9-13-25 @ approximately 11PM. Us a family of 6 walks inside the store. No greeting. No we’ll be with you in just a moment or anything. Three while booths where nasty, the bar was nasty also. One girl just had confusion on her face the whole night she kept complaining and talking about the dishes. The other girl that wasn’t doing anything wasn’t wiping the tables either. Finally we had to demand them to clean us two tables after an hour or so. Then for our drinks the cook served us small cups, saying they were out of the regular ones.Then one young lady served us 4 burned waffles that she had to remake. The cook was all over the place saying they left him with two new people. The adults glasses weren’t cleaned he served us. The eggs, bacon,and sausage was under cooked. My steak and cheese melt meat was burnt the worst way. Then on top of that he served us the people food across from us. Their was no organization in that place at all. Everything was bad never again.

Keep an eye out of you’ll miss this one. Not super noticeable from the hwy. Has the expected quality of food and service that you expect from the WH. A bit larger that some other locations. Always busy.

THE BEST waffle House I’ve ever visited in America! Usually when I go they are extremely busy …but yet getting the job done! Sometimes we have to wait a few minutes …but it’s always well worth the wait …because the food is so delicious! I love Chantilly’s enthusiasm and encouragement with the crew! She shouts out the orders in a very friendly way and makes the place feel unified. She compliments employees in front of each other and the customers in a most excellent way! And every single employee pays attention to detail and does their job in the best manner possible as far as I could see. I give credit to every single team member and I appreciate even the ones that usually don’t get much recognition. Especially the cooks because the food is perfect!… At least it always is for me. I do not know a single person who works there and it was my first time meeting Chantilly yesterday March 2024. I’ve only visited there three or four times a few months apart and every time I’m in town I hope to pop in whether I’m hungry or not! It’s very rare nowadays to see a group of people working so hard yet getting it so right and with a good attitude all at the same time! 10 stars!

I should have gone to IHOP! The bacon was burnt, the hash browns tasted like rubber and the bread was soggy. It tasted like someone needs to clean the grill/flat top. The only thing halfway decent were the cheesy eggs. That was a waste of time and money. The waitress was very nice and respectful, but the cook…… can he cook? That gives all Waffle Houses a bad name because I will never eat at another one.

Most Waffle Houses are excellent, but for some reason some of the staff at this one are extremely rude. I walked in to order a full meal but brought in an outside cup of nothing but ice, and one of the servers was extremely rude and demanded I give up the cup because no outside drinks were allowed. It was extremely disappointing because most Waffle Houses have far better service than this.

Literally the single dirtiest restaurant I’ve ever been to. Went late at night and it had two guests and four employees. Despite being empty, employees were all sitting around talking while 6 tables and every counter space were dirty, as well as disgusting waffle iron area, and dirty food plates in the food preparation area. Absolutely disgusting. Enjoy Waffle House in general, but will never come back to this one.

Best Waffle House in Shelby County! Clean dining area! Food hot and fresh cooked to perfection. Customer Service is just so great and friendly! Asia and Brandon definitely know what they are doing and how to keep customers happy and cared for. Thank you guys so much for the great food and friendly service. We will definitely be back!!!
