Upon entering the restaurant, my husband and I were not greeted nor was our waitress personable or attentive. I’m still reeling because she imposed herself into our space, sitting at our table while taking our order. She also felt compelled to tell us that she was having a long day and wanted it to end.
Same young-ish waitress (silver/black chunked hair) spilled my coffee as she sat it on the table and never checked for a refill.
Just an overall subpar experience.

I had not been to a waffle house in a while and never to this location. My friend and I both enjoyed the visit. Very clean, nice people, really good bacon patty melt. I thinkbthe waitresses name was KD (2 letters) or something. She was very pleasant and attentive.

This place is awful. The bacon was under cooked eggs weren’t scrambled they cooked them over easy and smashed them up the hash browns were only cooked on one side . The waitress seen there was a issue and still charged full price for both meals that were obviously NASTY. save your money and eat somewhere better

Can’t believe this cost $8.75. Was supposed to be the BLT with 5 strips of bacon. It had 2 1/2 strips of bacon and no lettuce. The bread was VERY small in size too. I know costs have gone up on everything but this was the worst I’ve seen so far on a cross country trip.
Should have thought twice when there was no one in the restaurant and the employee was just sitting and on her phone.

The food was consistently delicious, with perfectly cooked hash browns and fluffy waffles, and the service was incredibly friendly and attentive.

It was so horrible. Food is tasteless and too much oily. Service is very very poor and it took forever. And the place inside the restaurant is horrible. Never seen that bad before. Had a very bad experience and my opinion now changed totally on this restaurant.

Waffle Houses always carry a certain reputation—sometimes it’s urban, sometimes it’s hillbilly country, always a bit riff-raff in the mix. That’s part of the charm. At this location though, the vibe leaned so hard into a cultural niche that it almost felt like I’d walked into somebody’s personal, family-run restaurant instead of a national chain.
That energy made me expect a neighborhood specialty plate—the kind of chicken and waffles, BBQ, or Jamaican dish a family spot would take pride in doing right. But instead it was the same standard Waffle House menu, and that mismatch was jarring. The manager was loud, over the top, belting lyrics to the music like it was her personal show. If this were her own spot, with food crafted around that vibe, it would’ve made sense and maybe even been amazing. But inside a Waffle House, it just felt off.
And honestly, I hope they do get a joint specific to their vibe—I’d be first in line to check out what they could create if the food matched that personal passion. They deserve their own place. But as it stands, I won’t be going back.

I took my Mom here for breakfast and was really embarrassed. I spent the rest of the day apologizing to her. The place is filthy and the service is painfully slow. I’ve been to other Waffle House locations and they can be fine, but the food here was barely edible.
