So I came in for the All-Star Breakfast because, let’s be real, it never misses—well, almost never. The bacon? Crispy perfection. Like, exactly the kind of bacon that makes you feel like everything’s gonna be alright. The eggs were doing their job, the waffle was golden and happy…
But those grits? Baby.
When I say lumpy, I mean “stirred with a spoon of attitude and not a care in the world.” I had to do a double take like, are these grits or cottage cheese in disguise?
Enter Allison, the real MVP. Sis swooped in, saw my struggle, and fixed them grits up like she was raised right. Smooth, buttery, and back in business. Bless her.
Customer service overall? Surprisingly solid for 9 a.m. chaos. Folks were friendly, coffee stayed full, and no one gave me the side eye for asking for extra napkins three times.
So yeah, it wasn’t flawless—but it was still that Waffle House magic with a side of sass and smoky bacon. Just tell the grits to get it together next time.

I have eaten at several different locations with experiences that vary. My daughters and I came to the Nissan location on October 9th in honor of a loved one. From the moment we stepped in the experience was wonderful. Our server (a magician I’m sure) was on point and he made sure everything was exactly as it was ordered. Darren didn’t linger but stopped by enough to make sure we were good. I’m not sure why he’s not a manager except maybe he loves taking care of his customers. I know WH doesn’t always get great reviews but this WH definitely stepped up their game! Darren, we hope when we stop in again, we’re lucky enough to be in your section!

When I walked in every single employee greeted me with a loud welcome and smile I was surprised. Everyone know waffle house but this one was great my waitress was really sweet we were chatting and I told her I was getting food to take to the hospital and she came outside to talk to me and wished me and my loved one a speedy recovery super sweet very personable

Husband and I walked in today to grab a bite. We sat down at the counter to look at the menu. After 20 minutes of being completely ignored (absolutely no acknowledgement; not ecen eye contact), we walked out. No, it wasnt busy and I counted at least 8 employees behind the counter. Just a simple acknowledgement would have been appreciated. Instead, employees were too busy talking to each other to notice customers walking out. Ive ate here in the past, and never had anything but great food an service. I dont know what has changed but there are many other places to eat in Smyrna that actually appreciate their customers.

It’s a Waffle house. You can sit at the counter in awe of the well choreographed interactions between the line chefs and the waitresses. I was awestruck by the coordinated khos that resulted in my flawless order delivered to my seat piping hot and quick. Again, it’s a Waffle House, appreciate its beauty and simplicity.

OWNER OF THE PLACE PAY ATTENTION BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. DO NOT go to this place, there were 10 employees working and they had half the place closed. It is ridiculous. We waited 40 minutes and they never attended us. The manager is a garbage person. We have been going there for 7 years and the employees or manager don’t even greet you. I don’t know how they haven’t fired her and most of her employees are terrible. They spend all their time walking around and don’t take care of you. In the video below you can see how they have half the restaurant closed and 7 employees, including the manager stuck in the break room, 2 in the kitchen, and another outside smoking. We had to go to another place.
