Truly, I believe we should have more restaurants like Waffle House. Clean atmosphere, good food that came fast, and it’s affordable. An extra big star for the service, I didn’t grab the lady’s name but she was very kind and welcoming.

It’s waffle house., I get there and a nice enough lady takes my order she brings me a coffee and I wait for my breakfast
Which is up on the line for several minutes while she is standing over in the corner. Ok no biggie so it’s like warm. After getting down to the last few bites I notice a hair but I didn’t say anything because it’s all eaten already
Never came back to fill my coffee tried to get her attention but she was off in her own world,I left a 2 dollar tip normally I never tip under t bucks .

There is a reason I always sit at the bar when I visit a Waffle House, so I can see how the food is handled and prepared. I watched the cook prepare 3 orders, including mine, at no point in time did this person change their gloves, even after throwing raw meat on the griddle. I have seen this in the past at other locations but at said locations the cook is always at least careful not to touch cooked food with their hands, they specifically handle cooked food with the spatchula(s) from grill to plate. Unfortunately, I saw this person handle cooked food with their hands after failing to change their gloves. Luckily the only thing that was handled was the bacon which I picked off before enjoying the rest of my meal. The staff was friendly just this instance of improper glove use/changing and seeing that person immediately handle cooked food after the fact drops what would have been a 4-5 star review to a 2.

Whenever I visit the south, I make sure to stop at a waffle house. The service here is super friendly and the biscuits and gravy are absolutely to die for. I’ve had breakfast here twice this week already and plan on having it some more would definitely recommend anyone looking for some good southern breakfast!

On that particular day/time this WH food/service was bad……really bad. Long time fan of WH at this location. Not anymore. Last few visits at this location were awful. I’m done with you and I know WH doesn’t care if I visit/eat there or not. WH is NOT what it was at one time. The worm is in everything.

Tonight is was not busy at all. I came in and waited almost 10 mins while the waiter was in the back eating for him to come out and finally acknowledge me when he was in the front when I first walked in the door. I ordered my food to be cooked lightly. Not well done as you can tell from the pic. I said something about it but they said they couldn’t remake it because they can’t control how hot the grill gets. Makes no sense if you ask me. The food was dry and burnt and the service sucked.

Just wanted to say that I dine in every morning for breakfast at Waffle House. This store is actually the farthest from my home. I choose this store specifically because of the service. The staff treat me as if they’ve known me for years or I’m part of their group. The ladies remind me of home. I enjoy my mornings here and will be forever grateful for the kind words on hard days. Keep up the good work.
