You sort of know what you’re in for when you go to Waffle House. It’s not fancy, but it’s quick delicious food, mostly breakfast items, but if you’re a fan of consistency, good food, and good service vs. expensive “foodie” places, just look for the Waffle House sign and you’ll be fine. Try the pecan waffle. Try the gravy for the hash browns. Get them double-covered if you like cheese, and all the patty melt options are great. Sometimes we’ll do the breakfast bowls, too. As sometimes happens, we got to witness some staff drama and got to overhear a lot of the inner workings and politics of a 24 hour restaurant. None of that is a turn off for us because we are former restaurant and hospitality workers. Bottom line is, go here if you want a really good meal any time day or night and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

There is something special about a chocolate chip waffle as a late night snack Quiet atmosphere, takes me back to days of wishing a grandmother was walking in to a little girls cookie wishes. Of course, I never really had a grandmother, but a girl can dream can’t she. If I did it would be of this delicacy. Try the chocolate chip waffle if you have not. It’s like a home cooked cookie melting in your mouth. Wonderful for the sweet tooth craving.

Wife and I dined here numerous times since we moved here in 2010. Our experience couple days ago was awful. We at our table ( of which was next to the register) for SEVERAL minutes before any acknowledgment/service received. ( 4 employees behind the counter). The employees were extremely LOUD in simply talking to each other (not including when they would shout the orders out to the cook). Based upon the food/debris on the kitchen floor and under the cook areas, apparently not cleaned in a few days. Appearance and atmosphere non-typical of our past experiences. We left afterwards with no desire to return .

Day tried to charge me for bacon. When bacon already comes on Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt. Michelle was such a great help by checking to see if that was right. And she realized it wasn’t. Day needs to go into review!! And I was here tonight. This is unacceptable.

Me and wife went in for something to eat at 1:30 am Tuesday morning 12/30/2025 and the whole place was dirty all tables was dirty with dishes and there were 3 employees and no one was doing anything so we turned around and left. I have never seen a waffle house like this.

How can it be so bad. The place was a mess. I questioned the cleanliness as soon as I walked in the door. The dining room looked fine but the kitchen was horrible. And my omelet was terrible ham and cheese with diced tomatoes. It looks like dog food. There is no reason a egg should be brown on the inside. I tried to eat it but it tasted like straight grease. I sat there and watched them make the omelet they made it in a skillet and then put it on the grill and burned it. Never again!! Waste of money

This waffle house was closed at 2:00 am so we went to the other one in Florence and they was banging. One cook and one waitress for all these people… Thank goodness they was open and got all the business.

It’s Sunday and they are packed. But they have a great group of staff on. All running like a well oiled machine as fast as they come in orders taken , placed then plated and served. Was nice to watch all the staff there this morning. Great job to all
