Delicious Southern comfort food. We had the All-Star breakfast with a side of grits and a pecan waffle with milk and a side of hash browns. We were offered regular syrup or sugar-free syrup and whipped spread for the waffles.
This is the first restaurant we’ve been to in an about a year that gave us spoons without being asked. It’s a simple thing to give us spoons, but it makes eating so much more convenient!
Great views of the mountains through the windows!

Had breakfast here after a Turkey Trot 10k run on Thanksgiving morning. The food was good (loaded hashbrown bowl) and the atmosphere was fine (it was cleaner than most Waffle Houses I’ve been to in the past), but the service was was fantastic! The young lady that served us was very friendly and seemed happy to be working even on the Thanksgiving day holiday. She really made the experience 5 stars!

This location was recently closed and completely renovated. It’s literally the first restaurant we come to near our house so we love it! The food was great, Suzie Gus, and fantastic service, and everyone is very patient with us, even though we took a while longer than most other people did because of my brother-in-law’s brand new hip. just like other locations, this one is consistent and friendly and patient and the food is good and fast. You can sit and relax or you can get in and out really fast. Had a great experience today and we will be back soon.

We frequent this Waffle House and it’s normally great but tonight (9/28 @ 6:15ish when we got there) was a terrible experience. So many complaints, I don’t know where to start. It started out ok. Our waitress (young brunette girl) came and got our drink order and said we could order now if we knew what we wanted. We had just sat down. Less than a minute later she asked again if we were ready to order. We told her we haven’t even looked at the menu yet. Then we had to wave her down to get her to come take our order because she was too busy flirting with a young man at the counter. Their interactions were a problem throughout our whole experience. We ordered our food and waited FOREVER. A solid 30 minutes, which is not typical for this Waffle House. While waiting for our food, our waitress was so busy flirting with the bar guy that she burned our waffle and was laughing about it. She started making another one and another girl came behind her and opened up the waffle maker. They both laughed saying it’s going to be flat and they said “oh well” and closed it back. When we got our food, the second redone waffle was also way over cooked. 10 minutes later, we got another waffle, which was also over cooked. Our bacon was burned. We overheard the table behind us complain to each other that their bacon was burned too. The grits were cold. We never got refills. We waited a few minutes before asking for syrup, long enough that our waffles were cold. We ended up grabbing it ourselves. We then realized that none of the kids got their meats. That came quickly. Then it was time for the bill. Our total seemed right and we paid. After getting in the car, we realized our bill was a reprint from 9/25 order number 154345. Having had friends in the restaurant business, we know people have been known to use reprints to keep all the money essentially turning what the customer paid into a tip. That might be worth looking into.

We have always had a very pleasant experience at this Waffle House but this waitress tonight ruined it. Even my 5 year old son, whose idea it was to go to Waffle House for dinner, said “something is wrong with Waffle House tonight” and I couldn’t agree more. Something was definitely off tonight…
