Teamwork. Clear communication. Pure execution.
This Waffle House was a well-oiled machine—almost like watching a choreographed dance built around waffles, eggs, and bacon.
When we walked in, every table and every chair was filled. There were nine of us waiting, yet the staff never missed a beat. They greeted guests, filled bellies, cleared tables, and kept everything moving—never once dropping a smile.
At one point, when the grill was finally cleared, I overheard the team say “good job” to each other—right before another wave hit. And just like that, they were back at it without hesitation.
Kathleen was our server, and she was outstanding. Upbeat, hustling, and completely locked in. She never lost her rhythm, her smile, or her connection with the rest of the crew.
What stood out most was the leadership. Everyone jumped in where needed, even when it wasn’t technically “their job.” The leader led by helping—and honestly, it was hard to tell who the leader even was because the entire team moved as one.
In a high-pressure environment, this crew didn’t just survive—they excelled. It was truly refreshing to witness.

Waffle House in Helena is the absolute best one in the area. It is ALWAYS clean, even when busy! The employees are personable and kind. The temperature is consistent with the outside weather, which means if its cold outside, it’s warm inside. I will never go back to Pelham! This is the spot!

Horrible customer service! Lady was being professional the whole time but when we got our check we saw she had charged us 8$ more than what it was supposed to be. We ask why she charged us 8$ more and she said it was because we added bacon to our order… We got the value meal which was eggs, hash browns, and toast. She charged us for bacon when we didn’t order bacon. She then started to argue with us saying “it’s common sense to know bacon wasn’t supposed to come with the order”. Are you serious right now!!! We only had 35$ on us and the check was 36.50$ and we told them this. They said, “if you cant pay the bill, we will just pull the cameras & go from there.” There professional upon paying bill was abandoned, i have always loved waffle house. but will not be eating where that crew is located again.

Service: About as average as it gets, when it is not busy, the staff pretty much be chillin’ till a customer comes in and then they immediately lock in and get into business and then when it gets busy, you’ll have to be patient but for the most part, they’re doing pretty great.
Atmosphere: This is a type of place you call a Diner, you come in, sit anywhere you want, the staff will come to you and the seats are comfortable and depending on how many people you bring inside, there is always seating for the amount.
Food: Just get a waffle seriously, but I didn’t get a waffle because I didn’t want to eat too much maybe I’ll get one next time. The chicken melt bowl is always a choice for those who love chicken, topped off with mighty cheese and onions, with a side of hot sauce and ketchup, salt and pepper, you really can’t go wrong with this.

We arrived around midnight. It was quiet and clean. The staff there were fast and friendly. I said to them you 2 make a great team. He said “we’ve been married for 11 years!” His wife said “it helps.” It was great!

The staff was extremely pleasant and the atmosphere was welcoming. I met a little girl name Jessie who was oh so friendly.
My food was being prepared when I arrived. I didn’t express or display any irritation and when I got my food I accepted and left. I arrived home and my hash brown in my steak bowl were barely edible and the hash browns that were supposed to be smothered in my Superstar were not and could not be eaten. The wheat bread was white. Very disappointing!! Breakfast for dinner ruined.
